Did the C25K program, and loved it. I had to take some time off to recover from surgery but starting back up again tomorrow! Can't wait!! I never, EVER thought I'd enjoy running...but the feeling I have when I'm done with a run....ugh, indescribable!

I pretrack every night! Love it because it really does help me stay on track throughout the day. And, yes, I work backwards! Dinner is my favorite meal, so I want to make sure I have the cals for what I want! Hope it works for you, too!

My husband and I went to Italy last year for our honeymoon, and even though I'm sure we stuck out (they dress so much better than I do!), we were respectful, tried to speak the language as best we could (hubby's dad grew up in Italy, so we knew a few basics, but we also picked up quite a bit while being over there), and…

Hi all! My name is Megan, I'm a 29 year old (30 next month, wahhhhhh!) stay at home mom from Durham. My daughter is 6 months old and she makes working out very difficult! I also have a 2 yr old Boxer named Bailey - she's a handful! I'm currently working the C25K program, but stopped due to minor surgery. Hopping back on…

What I've been told is: Sugar is sugar, regardless of where it comes from, and sugar turns to fat quickly. I have no idea how true it is, but like one PP stated I limit fruit to once per day, and then eat lots of veggies.

Thanks for the responses! I am just going to have to suck it up and get it done before she wakes up. I'll get used to it. Right?....RIGHT?? lol

Wait...HOT coffee?? What is THAT?? My husband gets so frustrated because he finds all of my stiil-full coffee cups from 6a on the table at 8p! I'm like "Dude, I didn't just pour it for fun! I had every intention of sucking that bad boy down!! I just never got the chance!" And, no joke, my daughter has WICKED reflux and I…

We make some big sacrifices (no new cars, can't eat out as often, live in a less expensive area, etc), but it is SO worth me being able to stay home. I never thought I would be able to (damn student loans!!), but my husband has a great job that allows me to be able to stay home with my daughter. I don't feel as if I'm…

Omg, I seriously just spit my granola bar out. LOL

I don't. Today is my free day. I won't log anything. That being said, I also don't go buck wild lol. If I want nachos (now you have me fiending them!), I'll have some nachos...I just won't have an entire order by myself. If I want a beer (sunny and 70 here!), I'll have a beer...but I won't have more than that. The reason I…

I am so large-framed, it's unreal. I mean, I'm def flabby, but I'm 5'2 and have shoulders like a linebacker and a rib cage that could house a ferret!

I am a SAHM to my soon-to-be 6 month old, so I hear you on getting the exercise in. I manage to get on my treadmill, but she get's bored quick!

You look AMAZING! I know exactly what you mean about feeling "dead inside". But now that I'm on track, I feel great and I LOVE my exercise!! I have about 45lb left to go as well, feel free to friend me!

I love my "healthy bum!" lol. I actually have a great pair of Lee's. They have a little stretch in them, so they fit in the waist AND the bum.

Oh awesome! I was so nervous that I really would have to go to the gym. I'll go check out those threads....thanks for always answering my questions so quickly!!

I would love to get into lifting weights, but have been told in the past not to start until I lose some weight, otherwise it is just building muscle UNDER fat, making myself bigger. I'm new to the fitness aspect of weight loss, so I have no idea if that is true or not. I fairly overweight, I gained a lot when I was…
