Lose not loose. But just leave calories for late night snacking or try drinking tea. Pick up some low calorie snacks, put them in single servers to keep on hand so you don't eat the whole thing and go from there.
-
Actually, yeah, I'm curious too.
-
I've read some into it and it has led into deformed rib-cage, constricting organs, dislocation of ribs, and other long term effects. I personally wouldn't try it.
-
There are people who fully support it and it works for them to lose weight and stay healthy. When I've looked into it I've found that a lot of the scientific backing was lacking for it and a lot of the claims did not make any sense and a lot of the rules were unnecessary. But like the previous poster mentioned if you can't…

Cleanses: They are useless
-
You will also have a had time finding support for cleanses, "The _____ diet", diet pills, ect. on this site. Really, just stick to a calorie deficit, that's all you need.
-
Cleanses don't do anything, if you do lose weight it's because you are hitting a calorie deficit. If you have working liver and kidneys you don't need a cleanse. If you don't, you have bigger problems.
-
Weightloss isn't linear. As long as you are following a calorie deficit you will lose weight. There are other factors that affect your weight during the day (ie water intake, sodium intake, medications) that some weeks don't result in a loss.

I am currently on a pretty high dose of Topamax for seizures. I went through terrible mind fog for about the first 6-8 months. I was also extremely tired all the time and had no appetite at all. I have been hearing that it has been used to aid in weightloss, but it has almost completely destroyed my appetite. My migraines…

I love it! In terms of logging I just created 'crossfit' exercise and then added whatever calories I burned off my HRM.
-
Since you are a minor I am assuming that means under 18 years old. This site is for adults. You may find more support and people with similar goals at sparkteens.com

You have to want it bad enough to change. List out your reasons and look at your current lifestyle and where that will take you and think about it. Others motivation can only get you so far, you have to change mentally or you will fall back into the same habits.
-
So as you get closer to your goal, it's going to be more difficult to lose weight. Or I should say weight loss will slow significantly. I looked at your diary and a lot of the foods you log are the portions that are default for MFP. Start weighing your food, not measuring, weighing. You are probably consuming more than you…

What kind of foods are you eating? What do your meals look like? Are you eating back exercise calories? I found eating more foods high in protein, fiber, and healthy fats have helped with hunger and cravings. I have had the same problem. Depending on how fast you cut your calories it could have just taken time to adjust to…

Yeah, not quite sure what's been up with some people's accounts lately. I've been running into active people who have said they are deactivated.
-
You can better see fat loss if you were to get your body composition done and then after whatever day period back your get it done again. If you were curious. Theoretically the math equation should give you a good idea of how much fat you should be losing but there are so many other factors that plat into and can affect…
-
You need to elaborate more. You can't gain weight in a deficit. Your weight doesn't fluctuate day-to-day so make sure when you weigh yourself it is at a consistent time.
-
Really, it's best just not to buy it. I have the same problem and I've cut down a lot because I don't keep it in the house.
-
Like the previous poster mentioned if you want to lose fat you need to continue eating at a deficit. But if you want to gain muscle you need to eat a calorie surplus and do heavy lifting. Looking at the pictures it looks like you need to do more heavy lifting.
-
If they actually worked not nearly as many people would be overweight as they are.
-
Agreed, if you consistently log you should see a change in results. Calorie deficit equals weight loss. Weigh your foods.
-
As others have said: can't spot reduce. You just eat at a deficit and the weight will come off where it wants.

5'7". Ultimately 128lbs.

Tea cannot 'burn' fat for you. You need to do the work.
