So are you just listing the foods you put on your plate with a estimated guess of how much is there? A lot of people tend to overestimate and that's what tends to hinder their weightloss. Weight Watchers doesn't count calories, MFP does and that's what you need to do here. So you do need to weigh your food and portion it…

I weigh everything unless it is prepacked in individual servings by the manufacturer.

Welcome back honeylissabee, I agree with a previous poster. I have done both WW and MFP and have taken concerns to my doctor about my weight loss troubles. I found that I didn't like the point system and the waste of money (in my opinion) that WW was and my doctor made a point of saying that the program was for people who…

I believe that mason jars provide a better seal than the tupperware, which makes since as many people use them for long term storage. But I think you may get close to the same effect if you put plastic warp over the top then the lid on the tupperware.

Really, where it wants to. Like others have said, it's more genetic where the fat 'decides' to come off. Unfortunately most of the time it's not where we want it to most.

You can still lose weight on antidepressants, you need to monitor your intake closely and weightlifting is a good idea regardless.

I'm somewhat new to climbing, picked it up about 6 months ago. Love it! Trying to start a running program once I get back to the northwest, feel free to add me!

So true.

How do the holidays make things worse?

I'm 5'7" and my goal is 128lbs

Binge eating really comes down to will power, unless you are really out of control then you should probably speak to someone who specializes in eating disorders. If you are following the TDEE method, then you are suppose to eat 20% less than your TDEE. You don't go below BMR. Healthy snacks depend on your tastes. I like…

Body recomp, OP. Heavy weights will you out a lot, as mentioned by several other users.
-
You should start as soon as you can. Not all of that is fat that is coming off and some will be muscle.
-
Can't build muscle while losing weight. One requires a calorie deficit while the other requires a calorie surplus. Regardless a lifting routine should be part of your workout program.

Took me about 30-40lbs for anyone to notice

I just started my vegetarian diet back again. You can add me if you like. But there is maybe one night a week where I'll eat a burger (sometimes veggie burger) when I'm out with friends, otherwise I'm just eating my regular diet of tofu, tempeh, veggies, rice dishes...
-
I do. When I'm by myself I'm fine and usually eat less than calorie requirements. About once or twice a week I'm out with friends for a night and I eat and drink what I would like.
-
I've used it as makeup remover. There are better options in terms of what oils to use for cooking. Coconut oil is a saturated fat and should be limited in one's diet.
-
OP, any chance?

I've been picking sleep over getting up early for my workouts. Been averaging 4-5 hours a night so I'm in favoring of sleeping in or napping.

I don't think the birth control is to blame for that rapid weight gain. That's a lot for a side-effect and many birth-controls you don't gain that substantial amount of weight, people just usually end up overeating and think it's the birth control. You should probably check with your doctor either way.

Did you just join? What's your diary look like? If you are still gaining weight then you are eating more calories than your body is burning. Get a food scale, weigh your solids and measure liquids. You are more than likely eating more than you think.
-
This would be something to ask your doctor, you shouldn't seek medical advice from online forums. If you are comfortable doing exercises then go for it, if you are not there's no harm in waiting. But no one can tell you if it's "safe".
-
Yeah. Pretty much this right here.
-
I eat anywhere from 1300 to 1800 depending on the day. I don't track calorie burns anymore because I use the TDEE method but I burned about 400 to 650 depending on the work out. So 1600 to 2600 per week from exercise.

Start with what the site tells you and adjust from there.

So what you're looking for isn't lipo. Lipo only takes care of the surface fat. You're look for a lapband and that's only if you qualify. But you're eating too much if counting calories isn't working for you. You did say you don't stick to stickly to it. And most weight loss comes from how much food you consume and very…

Are you sure you're actually hungry and it's not cravings?

I've heard of approach similar to this, but the protein is the size of your palm, cheese the size of the thumb, ect. I think it would work if you're really in a pinch and had no way to know the amount of calories in anything, it would provide a very rough estimate. But, weight loss is a calorie deficit, if you are not in a…
