  • It's all stuff you can do on your own. You would be wasting your money.
  • 35% and 180? Yeah, you could. This is coming from someone with about the same stats. My body fat is just a tad lower and my weight is a little higher. But I'm also an inch-inch an half taller.
  • So to lose weight you need to eat at a deficit, to gain muscle you need to eat at a surplus and lift heavy weights. Diet it very important no matter what you do at the gym. You can ruin an entire day at the gym if you don't keep what you're eating in check.
  • I was reading up on it and it says weight gain is listed under "less common or rare" side effects. It also states that it should go away with time. Looks like you just have to wait till you adjust to it. The confusion is also a side effect of the drug as well along with the tiredness. A lot of these symptoms can be…
  • A calorie deficit causes you to lose weight. Fit tea is just another weight loss scam/gimmick. Stick to calories in vs. calories out. If you want tea, just drink tea.
  • Overeating. Doesn't matter if you're eating healthy and going to the gym, if you're consuming more calories than your body can burn your going to gain weight. Are you measuring your food with a scale? Or just guessing? Measuring cups don't work for anything solid. You can lose weight eating anything you want as long as you…
  • I wouldn't risk it. Any blood abnormalities would just get tossed and you don't want to risk giving that to anyone else. They test the blood before giving it to anyone but I don't think you would be a suitable donor.
  • Good point. OP, weigh everything. Measuring cups don't cut it with solid foods. Also, if you are using MFP to estimate calorie burns and eating calories back, it overestimates. Eat back a portion.
  • Your body will lose weight where it wants. Just stay at a deficit.
  • This. Just because you are eating healthier doesn't mean you are in a deficit.
  • Adding more protein will help. Some fat might too. But it takes some getting used to. Try drinking more water as well.
  • Coffee is fine. Caffeine has been found to promote weight loss. Just watch what you put in it, that's where the calories come from. But it doesn't really matter as long as it fits in your calorie goals. Weight loss is a deficit. You can eat/drink whatever you want as long as you adhere to calories in vs. calories out. I…

  • Lipo wouldn't help you any. If you don't have enough discipline to fix your eating habits on your own than nothing is going to help you.
  • It's alright. Just breath. First off, I think you should seek some professional help from a therapist before this takes a turn for the worst. Just reading this post stressed me out. Second, are you using a food scale? You can eat all the healthy food you want but if you blow your deficit then what's the point? Use it to…
  • I've been here awhile. Just observing the forums. Not so much less "mean" people but maybe increase on people who might just take things a little personally. If you ask a questions, you're going to get an answer. If you don't like that answer I see it as the OP's problem. I was just on a thread the other day where an OP…
  • He sounds like he's insecure with himself more than anything. At least from what I'm reading. You are working out and he hasn't been. He might be expressing it the only way he know's how.
  • That's weird. I'm on a high dose for epilepsy and didn't hit the appetite issues till about 6 months in. I'm adjusted and the appetite still hasn't come back. I would say talk to your doctor about it. Or, calculate your TDEE and BMR and go off that to make sure you don't gain. I personally use IIFYM.com calculators. Or you…
  • ^^^ This!!!
  • Unless you rule out a medical condition, the amount of calories you are eating is not accurate. Simple as that. You don't want to admit it but that's what it is. Again, calories in vs. calories out. Weigh your food, ditch the measuring cups. If you don't believe it, try it just for kicks because you got nothing to lose.
  • You need a food scale. Especially for solid foods. No reason you shouldn't be losing weight. Weight loss is a calorie deficit, so if you're not losing weight you are eating more calories than you think. Weigh your food. Measuring cups are not accurate for solid foods at all.
  • I can't stand PB in anything other than protein shakes, cookies, cake, ect. I love mayo with tuna, salmon, on sandwiches, ect. I use mayo more than PB.
  • Call animal control, or the police department, whoever handles animals in your jurisdiction. They can usually handle those situations and give the woman a warning or citation. It's not your problem to deal with this. If the woman wants dogs she needs to be in control of them. If not, there are consequences. Call animal…
  • Soreness is normal. Yes, it is ok to workout. Try stretching more and drinking more water.
  • Start logging food. Calorie deficit = weight loss. Use a food scale. You can eat clean all you want. If you blow your calorie deficit you'll stay the same weight or gain. So, just get in the habit of logging and just see where you're at. But don't really trust the calorie burns MFP gives you. They overestimate by a lot.
  • First time around I didn't notice a difference till I looked at old pictures, or till about the 30lbs mark.
  • I'm doing the TDEE minus 25% with the IIFYM. I'm recently new to counting macros so I'm falling short most days.
  • Welcome to the forums. You will find this "attitude" in abundance here. You will just need to learn to thicken your skin and live with it. While a clothing size could be a nice goal, it may not be a realistic one for the time frame. I'm not even sure for your body type either. It's a hard question to answer. Some people…
  • You shouldn't be going to a weight loss site for medical advise. Go to your doctor.
  • Yeah, it can suck. It took about 40lbs for people to notice for me. It's different for everyone.
