I did one in the winter of 2011-2012. Yeah, still haven't successfully cut afterwards but oh well. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/BusyLady406/view/so-ya-wanna-bulk-475896 http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/940668-ladies-who-have-bulked…

Preserve muscle, Get stronger, Be awesome.
-
Who are you comparing yourself to? If it's friends on MFP, de-friend them. Most of my friends list eats above 1800 calories.
-
Do people who eat clean make their own kethcup? Cake from scratch is "clean", right?
-
You can't spot reduce. 100 crunches a day is just silly. It won't do anything to remove fat from your belly and will just make your stomach muscles better at doing crunches which isn't very useful. I tried Hydroxycut once when I was young. Made me feel like crap. Eat at a deficit. You will lose weight. Be patient.
-
Why don't you try eating "clean" like 75% of the time, then "normally" 25% of the time? Makes staying "on the wagon" easier.
-
Pretty sure this is what we are tying to show. You won't get "bulky man muscles and a gangster jaw" from lifting weights.
-
I often have DOMs in my core muscles after standing. Working core = good.
-
Nah. My husband has it. I don't care. Although I might suggest he wax it before our next beach vacation.
-
I'll admit. I'm a little "bulky" due to higher body fat levels and big muscles. But I've been lifting at maintenance or a surplus for almost 2 years.
-
Pretty sure we had this conversation yesterday. If I were single, it would depend. I've meet a couple of men I was attracted to recently who were 5'4"ish. I'm 5'9" as is my husband.
-
Continue to eat at a small deficit. Stop the crunches. You can't spot reduce.
-
So lets say you have a friend at work. He's smart, funny, handsome, strong, super cut, etc. You start hanging out, texting, etc. You realize you have a crush on him. He's 5'5". Are you really not going to date him because he doesn't make you feel feminine enough? Where did this notion come from that we have to be small (or…

Preferences are one thing. Flat out saying "no one under 6'" is totally different.

I have no idea what my IQ is. Or what my husband's is.

But why is it okay to discriminate against short men? It's not like they did anything to become short, or they can do anything to fix it? WHY do men "have" to be taller than women in relationships? How would we feel if most men said "I won't date any women with a food bigger than a size 8"?
-
There's a trainer at my gym who is about 5'4" and can deadlift aver 400lbs. Yums. I hear short men are better in bed too....
-
I'm 5'9". When I was younger I tried to stay above 5'7 (my husband is 5'9"). Lately I've met a couple of really hot, strong 5'4" and would totally hit that (if I were single).

Telling someone who has already made the decision to not breast feed (the kid is 3 weeks old) is pointless. It's too late now anyway. (Not the I believe that Autism is related to not breast feeding).

Weeks? LOL. How about months or years? It took me a year with the first 2 where I gained 25lbs, 1.5 years with the third where I gained 45lbs (and I never really got there but i was pretty thin before him).
-
Yeah, height should make a difference. I'm 5'9". It said I'm 5% smaller than I thought I was.
-
This topic specifically: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/560459-stronglifts-5x5-summary I really like the program. Simple, effective. I still do a modified version.

I eat: Fast food 1-2 times a week. Restaurant food once a week. "Processed convenience food" like boxed, flavored noodles or rice 2 times a week. I'm 33 years old. Have a healthy BMI. An "athlete" level body fat percentage. I can bench press 100+ pounds for reps, deadlift 170. I can mountain bike 10 miles easily. Lift and…

Increased libido, like whooa. Also, I didn't gain weight or lose any hair or anything. I don't even remember noticing a difference in craps or flow either.
-
Try for about: 40 grams of fat a day. 90 grams protein a day. 1700 calories I'd suggest a heavy lifting program to maintain muscle, Strong Lifts 5x5 is a good one. Cut your HIIT down to 2-3 times a week.

I know one.
-
No it doesn't. I didn't eat 'clean' during my bulk. I didn't gain very much fat.

But do they feel unloved and disrespected because they are in a conflict, or are they in a conflict because they are unloved or disrespected? Most of my marital conflicts arise over something stupid (the air conditioning last night for example), not disrespect or feeling unloved.
