LOL. Not really a "program". I eat basically in a "If it fits your Macros" manner. I try to eat fruits and veggies, and get enough protein and fat. I lost the 10lbs doing Turbo Fire and eating about 2000 net (I'm 5'9" and pretty active). I gained 10lbs lifting heavy weights, starting with New Rules of Weight Lifting for…

Yes I wear them. Yes the make my hips look big. But my hips ARE big. They don't get any smaller when I swear boot cut jeans. I wear them just like everyone else, with boots in the winter, with flats in the summer, with wedge heels when going out. Oh and I'd recommend Target's Curvy fit, whatever that is Fit 4 or something.

DO NOT GO LOW CARB. DO NOT MAKE HER WEIGH HERSELF. Sounds like you are doing everything you can and that she's not in danger of becoming unhealthy. Let her be. As she gets older hopefully she'll want to make better choices at her dads. At this stage in her life her mental health and self esteem are a lot more important…

Age: 33 Height: 5'9" Daily Calorie intake: 2000-3000 Workouts: Lift heavy (progressive, compound, barbell moves) 2 times a week, mountain bike once a week, and just restarted Turbo Fire videos (we'll see how long that lasts). Weight loss goals: Losing some body fat would be nice but I'm not motivated enough to try hard.

Miracle Whip is better.

I've been lifting for almost 2 years consistently. It's the only thing I have been able to be consistent with. And yeah, to show that scale weight isn't anything, a little self-promotion: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/1077360-funny-i-weigh-2lbs-more-than-when-i-started-mfp

To be fair, I did lose 10lbs, then regain it doing a bulk, then slowing gain another 3 lbs....
-
Why aren't you talking serious weight lifting? Also, movement of the scale isn't everything. Would you rather look better or weigh less?

How does her doctor feel about her weight? I wouldn't think a bit of a belly is really something to be worried about. Kids grow differently. I wouldn't do anything extreme. Serve healthy meals with reasonable portion sizes. Set established snack times. Encourage activity, discourage T.V. watching.

I've read pretty much everyone of Lyle's articles but not any of his books. What's the basic idea of the diet? Low calories, high protein?
-
Um. What net is that? Why are you trying to lose weight? Your profile says you are a recovered anorexia who weighs 123lbs but is trying to lose 28lbs... I'd really suggest you get some counseling or talk to a doctor.

I used to eat McDonalds almost 5 days a week, for 5 years. I worked there and we got a free meal each shift. I am alive and healthy. Their new premium chicken wraps are yummy. Get the sweet chili one. It has cucumbers.

Thanks! It's NOT very good for going to the pool with small children though. I had to buy a different top for that...

What is your TDEE? How much protein are you eating? Are you lifting weights? What kind of program? Are you progressively increasing the weight you do? http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/training/weight-training-for-fat-loss-part-1.html

Hey now. Why you hating on spandex? Mountain bike racers wear spandex.

Grocery. We eat a lot of eggs.

Are you still trying to lose weight? If so what your really want to do is maintain muscle. I'd recommend a basic simple beginners program like Strong Lifts 5x5. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/560459-stronglifts-5x5-summary

What is so special about 105lbs? What if you look better and are a smaller size at 115lbs? 30 day shred is not a muscle gaining program, neither is 1300 calories a day. To gain muscle I lifted heavy weights including squats, deadlifts and bench press and ate 3000 calories a day.

I'm 5'9. I was expecting a weight for you in the 130s at that body fat percentage.
-
That's impressively high actually. Awesome amount of lean body mass.

Oh and this one is really old, I think from before my husband and I got married. The Kokopeli trail system near Fruita, CO. I think it might be Mack's Ridge which I had no business being on. I think I had to walk the rest of the way from here.

Elk Medows Trail Evergreeen CO The view of Golden, CO from the top of South Table Mountain (this was January I think, which is why it was so brown and it hadn't snowed for a while which is why I was able to get a ride in at all): The view from the top of Matthew Winters Morrison, CO: Ridgeline Castle Rock, CO. Awesome job! What was your weight for competition? Just curious.
-
I'm 5'8.75" and can lose a half pound a week by netting 2000 calories a day.
-
Just remember it's much easier to lose fat than it is to gain muscle.

And just for fun, because I'm avoiding laundry: http://youtu.be/QyQ-0PpuLi0

I've tried doing things like making the distance from belly button to the top of my head the same but it still doesn't look right.
-
You can't control when and where fat comes off. It's genetic. For me thighs are the very last place.
-
What about just going for walks every other day then go up to 6 days a week, then longer and faster, then think about joining a gym or getting a video program?

I try not to care about how others describe themselves.
