Is your "sweet tooth" causing you to go over your calorie goals?

I aso vote recomp.

Asics are some of the more affordable running shoes. You can probably find them for cheaper in store. I get mine from Big 5, I think they are around $50.

Ab wheels huh? Like the little wheels with the handle that your roll around on the ground? Interesting. They seem gimicy.

Or you could just go for 1500 every day if 1200 every day is too hard.

You are right. I CAN peed in the woods, just not nearly as easily as someone with male genitals.

Not being able to pee in the woods is number one.

Honestly, you'll get more from lifting if you switch to a full body routine, 3 times a week. If those are the only days you can work out, I might do full body on Tuesday, then upper body on Thursday and Lower on Friday. It's best to hit each muscle group at least twice a week. You don't NEED to do cardio at all. But it…

First, he was an obese man on a very low calorie diet. Obese people can handle larger deficits. Second, it's done. He lost 120lbs. We don't need to lecture him on it. Third, the point of his post was looking for reassurance that he won't gain at 1800 calories. You won't gain at 1800 calories. You could probably go up to…

Yeah, popcorn. I just use regular microwave popcorn. An entire bag is just over 300 calories and a LOT of volume.

My weight goes up and down a lot, unrelated to my cycle. You've just got to get used to it. It's not going to go down every day. I plot all my weights in Excel and then look at the overall trend.

Broscience. There is a LOT of *kitten* out there on fitness. A little bit of sugar will not kill all your GAINZ.

The only problem with too much carbs is if you don't get enough protein due to eating too much carbs. I aim for a minimum of 100g of protein. And like I mentioned, you might feel fuller on less calories if you include more protein and fat. I know I do.

If you eat less than you burn, you'll lose weight, regardless of what you eat. So sure, eating the exact same amount of total calories regardless of content will produce approximately the same weight loss, not including water weight fluctuations, etc. But, of course they aren't the same. Some calories have more nutrients,…

Sugar, protein and weight lifting sounds like a great way to gain muscle. You should eat some veggies now and then too. Don't want to get scurvy.

I have the same pattern. My stomach is looking pretty good right now but my legs won't be "there" for at least 10 more lbs. My upper chest goes pretty soon too, collar bone sticks out like crazy.

This is a great reply. Don't be sad!

What kind of trouble? And who told you that?

Perfect. I'd recommend Strong Lifts 5x5. Five different simple (yet compound) lifts, 3 each day. You start with the bar so you get your form down. Add weight each time. Or check out this post: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10332083/which-lifting-program-is-the-best-for-you/p1

But I think that 1200 is the minimum for small women. Us large women shouldn't eat that little. I lose at 2000. My absolute minimum would probably 1600.

So for 2lbs a week, that's a deficit of 1000 calories a day, so MFP is guessing you burn 2400, which isn't that far from 3000. NEAT is non exercise activity thermogenesis, basically the calories your burn during the day.

* She could keeping losing if she'd like, or stop and work on recomp (gaining muscle while maintaining weight). * Absolutely. Those calves don't look abnormally wide at all. * Human shaped. It does appear that she might carry her excess weight in her mid-section vs. her lower body, which would probably define her as…

My fast walk and my slow run are close to the same speed (but I don't use a treadmill). I'm hoping that the slow run will just get me used to the movement pattern and I can eventually speed up.
-
Are you running on a treadmill? I can totally "run" 4 mph. And by run, it's more of a shuffle.
-
Yup. Although my routine is based on this: https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/373801/two-day-full-body-strength-training-routine/p1

If you do end up going for pain meds for the dog, I've found that Costco is cheapest by far. We have a now 2-year old German Short Hair Pointer. He's horribly behaved if he doesn't get exercise. I've tried to take up jogging due to him. I take him on a 3 mile job about every other day, and my kids take him for a 2 mile…

Yup. Ditto hat and sunglasses.

This would be my advice. I think a break would do you some good.
