I didn'y change my goal til after I reached it..then SLOWLY added calories every 2 weeks. It took months to lose those last 10 lbs.

WOW.....sounds so familar...I reached goal....added 200 calories a day for 3 weeks, then added 100 more for a few weeks.....then I lost all control when I stopped logging......so before things got too out of hand I came back and have been logging for 35 days. When I stopped logging I stopped going to the gym too, that was…

I buy Naan bread, spread pizza sauce, load up on veggies and sprinkle with lite cheese, throw it in the oven @425 til the cheese bubbles up. Any way you slice it pizza is hard to keep low calorie. This way though I know exactly whats in it and how much I can have.

I do tricep dips in my chair, take the stairs, I even have a set of weights under my desk, I can sneek some bicep curls in.

MFP doesn't have it listed but YOU can add it...then go to zumbacalories and calculate approx. calorie burn, I error on the low side.

I find that running is a mental sport..I have a very difficult time getting past the first mile and sometimes I literaly talk myself out of finishing, other days it's a breeze and I can run for miles. Rest, hydration, calorie intake, so many varibles all play into it too. IMHO your'e asking too much from your body with too…

I feel your pain....I reached my goal back in mid July....I pretty much stopped logging and I stopped lifting. I thought gee whiz I'm so busy with mixing and pouring concrete at the house, yard work and other summer stuff, I stopped going to the gym. Obviously my brain never grasped the concept that this is for LIFE !! Not…

Sorta like the definition of Insanity....doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Great post.

google zumbacalories, it's a rough estimate

Wooo woot!!! Congrats, you look awesome!! Try going up on your calories GRADUALLY, keeping an eye on the scale, til you find a balance. It's so easy to slip in the maintenance phase...which is the rest of your life. Best of luck enjoying the new you !!

Thank you, I reached my goal about 3 weeks ago...it wasn't easy and my co workers who started at my side ended up not so nice as I neared my goal. t Today as I'm struggling to maintain, they seem happy that I've put back a few. I NEED to remind myself daily, that one never truly reaches a goal with weightloss…

I don't really think it's harder.....I guess the older I get and the years of abuse my body has gone through Yo -yoing, even with "dieting" and exercise my body will never be what I'd like it to be. It's taken me about a year, but I have reached my goal @52 total pounds . Strength training has definately help with the last…

I don't count those calories burned while lifting...I guess there's enough guess work in cardio calories burned and calories consumed that 3x week at approx. 120 calories, it'll all balance out in the end.
-
Yeah !! I qualify on both counts..woman and over 50 !! Add me if you like....
-
Totally amazed !! You have rocked the weight loss and toning world !! Congrats!!
-
Best advice...GO OUT SLOW...find your pace and stick to it. Most people get caught up in all the excitement, goout too fast then die. Have faith...YOU CAN and WILL finish !!

Congrats !! I'm sure these are the first 2 of many to come !!
