Woot woot !!! Thanks to everyone for your advice and support...14.1 miles in 122 minutes !! I took music along on low...over all a great run until the near miss with a unleashed dog..WTF!! Why can't people keep their pooches on a chain or leash!! Better yet behind a tall fence. Did another 6 miles today as my recovery run!

I don't know why I let my brain torment me..I replay the run over and over, with me quitting mid run. I've never run with music, I've always thought it to be safer if I'm alert to my surroundings. Thanks for all the advice.

that's a 7.5 mile run on Saturday and a 3 mile run on Sunday with a 28.8 mile bike ride....whoa...I have a long way to go in a short time!!

Just Great stuff...they freeze dry PB & remove the fat, it becomes a powder you reconstitute ...not bad for a PB fix..a tad expensive though.

well ...keep the inspiration going.....you'll have good days and bad days....remember to be kind to yourself, never deprive yourself and stay active. Set small goals. So happy you've made to decision to get healthier and fit.

I competed in my first Duathlon..placed 46th overall and FIRST for my age group !!

After my 1/2 and a few other races I developed shin splints, so I biked...then signed up for a duathlon...run/bike/run.....really enjoyed it!
