You 2 are probably right about not worrying about it at all. As long as I'm losing weight, exercising, and my strength isn't going down, it probably isn't something I need to worry about.

Thanks Lucky! @Freezerburn - Thanks for thank link! Love it!

Thanks so much for all the responses!!! I guess when it comes down to it, all that matters is I'm looking and feel better, and I know I'm losing weight. I'm getting stronger, and can see more muscle all over my body (mainly due to fat coming off). I will definitely get a hydro measure if I can. I've always wanted to do…

Thanks guys! I do have the electro one, I just figure it is accurate to itself, and according to that I AM losing body fat monthly. That's exactly why I was so shocked at their measurements. I was 41% at that time (203.6) with my hand held. Now I'm around 36%. I do trust that a little more as far as being higher than what…

I have a 3 year old and a 6 month old. I both workout at the gym, and at home (depending). I MAKE the time. It is hard, I am tired (6 month old still doesn't sleep through the night, EVER), and sometimes I DO NOT want to, but I do it. 1 hour a day, or most days (5 days a week at least for me) is a drop in the bucket. I do…

I weigh twice a day, morning before eating or drinking and without clothes, and at night right before bed. I don't allow the natural fluctuation to bother me; but I like knowing every day. The night weights allows me to anticipate what my morning weight will be, and my daily morning weigh in keeps me on track. Over the…

I just wanted to say I'm very sorry for your loss!!!! ((((hugs)))

LOL, this made me laugh because I see this on my feed all the time. I think it's a combo of denial, an unwillingness to change, not being READY to really change, and yet wanting to think they are doing everything right but their bodies are somehow unique and immune to weight loss. If I see them shooting down all advice, I…

I agree with you totally. I think it stems from insecurities. Something like -- if even ONE person finds something attractive that I don't have it makes *me* feel insecure therefore *I* must lash out and/or get validation from others that my body type is the best. The thing is, though, insecurities don't go away with…

Thanks so much! I really appreciate it. It may be lame, but sometimes it's nice to hear from other people that there actually IS a difference, even it if is just in my face!

thank you, everyone!

WOW!!! Amazing. Very inspiring!

Very cute! 8.5

I'm down 44 pounds and 1 pant size -- 1 pant size from my own closet though. The jeans I started in (18s) were so tight I could barely breathe and definitely couldn't sit down. I'm now comfortable in a 16 (meaning - they fit straight from the dryer, no squats needed). So I'm actually probably down 2 or 3 pant sizes, I just…

MFP is just a way to count calories, track exercise, and of you choose to you can also gain support from other members. It comes down to what you eat and how much of it. I've used several sites similar to this, as well as counting calories with plain ol pen and paper -- I like MFP the best, but my results are the same…

You can walk. You can do body weight exercises (search for that on youtube and you will get a ton of how to's). I also have asthma, I have worked up to running.

I just had my 2nd baby in December (he's 5.5 months old), I just hit my pre-pregnancy weight TODAY (actually .8 pounds under to be exact). My tummy naturally went down the more weight I lost. I definitely do core workouts to strengthen my core as well, mainly because my stomach muscles were incredibly week I had a hard…

I'd say that it's likely that you don't accurately see yourself the way you are.

I like my men like I like my workouts. . . hard, sweaty, and does my body good.

The staff at the gym should be more than happy to show you how to use the equipment! Just ask! Also, if you are paying for a trainer but he's out for weeks, he should have a different trainer take over for him, especially since you are new!

You don't have to run or have a nutritionist to lose weight! I also have 2 kids and have never ever been to a nutritionist. Avoid processed foods, eat as many veggies as you can, throw in some fruits, have lean proteins, avoid eating out as much as possible. You can simply start by cutting calories, you don't have to go…

I just went this past week, best thing I ever did for myself. I'm certainly no svelte running guru, I'm a beginner -- All the more reason to go! I had been running in terribly old, ill fitting, shoes since I started back running and I've paid the price now by being sidelined with an injury. It's worth doing!

I looked at your diary and I noticed a couple things. 1st that you either don't log every single day, or you are not eating every single day (you tell me!). I noticed there were several days you were well under 1000 calories as well. Do you workout at all? If the days you are not logging your food you are over eating that…
