I've had a stand up desk for about 3 weeks and I LOVE it. My desk has the option to sit, but I've been steadily finding myself standing more and more of the day. After years of a sitting desk job, my body had a little adjustment period but now I'm fine for almost 8 hours straight.

A million times yes to asking for help setting up your bike the first time (or first couple of times even). I started going to spin classes on a regular basis two months ago and I was a little embarrassed to have to ask for help setting the bike up, but the instructor was so helpful and I think it really made a difference…

I generally have an insatiable sweet tooth so I make sure to have a bag of Jolly Ranchers at my desk. I can throw 1 in my mouth and make it last a long time which is generally pretty good at tricking my brain into being satisfied. At 23 calories each it's the best way I've found to manage my sweet tooth.
