Just finished up day 3. Whew, I'm sore. I have to PT with my unit everyday as well. Today we did Crossfit to include 10 push ups, 10 sit ups, 10 squats, and 5 burpees. 5 rounds of this and then 30 DS my body is wanting to kill me! Hey only 27 more days to go! Keep up all the good work ladies :)

We work on pushups a lot being the military! The biggest things I have found to help are; negatives, core strength, and just plain doing them. A good negative description given to us from a Air Force physiologist is below: The Negative Pushup The negative pushup is performed by starting face-down on the floor with your…

30 Day Shred and 30 Mins on the spin bike :)

I do this too! Or with flavored water like propel. If I need a little something better, I mix with diet 7 up (but that's at home since most bars don't carry it)

Do you have any good exercises for torn ATFL?

I got the instant stream from amazon for 4.99 and I just sit my lap top in front of me with the volume way up for now :)

Yep! Same here.

Hello! My name is Melissa and I am also just started 30 day shred (may27th). I am a mom of two little ones; 5 yr old son and 3 yr old daughter. I am still nursing a parachute injury to my foot. I have a torn ATFL, but that isn't going to stop me! I can't run right now, even though I love to do it :( But to keep up my…

I also have some crazy allergies. I have found that doing Flonase right before I run helps, but there are times, like you said, that it just seems like my nose is a faucet. I recently got certified to be a spin instructor and purchased my very own spin bike! So when I feel it's a bad allergy day, I hope on my bike and jam…

A heart rate monitor is the only way to get an pretty accurate amount of calories you are burning. However, if you don't want to fork over the cash, then I would recommend finding a standard tack to get as close as you can without a HRM purchase.

That's exactly how my throat felt when I was diagnosed with a food allergy to chicken. Tight and kinda hard to swallow, but I could still breath.

The easiest way would be to time yourself running/jogging your lap then you can break it down to mph. As you probably know, 4 laps equal 1 mile on a standard track. Or just time yourself for your entire workout for 4 laps and that's pretty much an average of what you are doing especially since it seems like you are doing…

I love my CEP compression socks! Pricey, but worth it if you are logging some serious miles. I tried them after my first half (Rock N Roll New Orleans) and they are awesome. I haven't noticed a difference though with my ankle injury, but I haven't been logging miles running lately. I have a torn ATFL so nothing is really…
