Oh my gosh yes! When i used to go on what i thought were long walks were really only maybe 1/2 mile or 1 mile long walks! No wonder doing that like 1-2 times a week wasn't enough to lose any weight!

That working out will get easier for you and that you'll need to consistently up your intensity in order to keep up the same amount of calorie burn! I used to burn like 300 calories by jogging 3 miles and I now need to do at least 4 to get the same burn rate!

That letting go of your "fat" clothes will be hard. I just donated a bunch of my old sizes this week and while it partly felt liberating it also felt very scary. i kept some things "just in case" which part of me hates but also I don't want to have to buy all new clothes again.. again

Like the poster above me I started MFP in many moons ago, the first time I logged was in 2012. I lost about 20 pounds then and packed it all pack on about 4 months later. Then in 2014 i lost about 35 pounds but then i got pregnant with my first kiddo and again packed it all back on. Now in 2019 I've lost almost 40 pounds…

I was never a fan of cheese sauce and broccoli! I'd much prefer broccoli plain or even with a little bit of mayo! Lol thats how i grew up eating broccoli and i really don't like it paired with cheese either!

I have an issue with snacking after 8:00 p.m. sometimes i save my calories for an actual snack post dinner but most of the time i am just bored and looking for something to do so I snack. Im surprised that you say you only are 90% accurate if you weigh everything else! I would assume that with just those two exception that you would be closer to like 95% accurate. lol maybe I'm being too generous on my estimation for myself

Recently went on a 7.5 Mile hike with my husband and our two kids. We did a pretty strenuous hike all while packing our kids and all their various stuff. I probably had over 35 extra pounds and my husband probably had about 50. I never would have thought it was even possible a mere 6 months ago.

Today isn't looking like it's going to be very balanced for me :( Breakfast: Half a grande chai latte from starbucks (brought to me by a very kind co-worker) Lunch: 2 Pieces of Teriyaki chicken that was for dinner a couple of nights ago and some white rice and some frozen grapes Dinner: Chili and Rice with a hot dog LOL

Oh my goodness you just reminded me that when i was a kiddo my mom would take us to the movies and occasionally we'd get to have hotdogs and popcorn for dinner! We didn't make it at home ever but the combo of hot dogs and popcorn is totally amazing!

Add me! I'm a 33 year old momma to two! I have a 4 year old and an 18 month old and agree that my goals now are just to be a healthier me for my kids and my husband! I've lost about 35 pounds so far and have another 10 or so to go. I'd love more friends here to help encourage and keep me accountable to my goals!
