  • Holy Moly !!!! SLOW it down !!! I am on week 9 and I still don't get over 5 MPH. But then I'm a slow turtle. As others have said.. it's not about speed in the beginning. Start out slow and add a small amount each week. You'll probably still pass me in a race... HA HA H A
  • Check out your local running store. Ours has all the local races on their website.
  • You did NOT bomb out... you were out there trying and that's GREAT !!! Slow down... even walk if you have too. It's not a race to finish fast. And work up to the hills. If you have a fairly flat area, how about just running back and forth on that ?? I am slow. I could probably walk as fast as I'm jogging. I call what I do…

  • Awesome !!!!! You are a winner !! My city is full of huge, long hills. I try, but always end up walking up. Turkey Trot on Thursday and once again there are killer hills. • I have been on it for 20 years. 5 years ago had thyroid removed so will take it for life. It takes a while for your body to adjust. Just be consistent and don't miss doses. I am to the point now that I don't feel any difference, but I am sure if I missed multiple days I would. Yes...get the blood work done !! I was going…
  • Cottage cheese. My dad used it to wean puppies off their momma. After seeing 12 cutie puppies standing in their bowls and covered from nose to tip of tail, you quickly lose your taste for it. Liver... haven't had it since I was 6 and hope I never have to. Brussel sprouts. Tuna.

Would think we are far enough inland to be ok, but after the derecho this summer, everyone is a bit uptight about it. Stay safe everyone!
