Day 8 is done...I really half assed it thru it though cause I am pms'ing and really did not feel good this morning but gave it everything I had. But I burned 30 less calories. However, I will be going on my 4 mile walk tonight so I will make that up then. I hope everyone had a great Easter! And if you missed your workout…

Thanks, Becky. I may get the dvd and try it out then! :)

I did Day 7 first thing this morning! I really didn't want to get up and do it but I am so ready to move off level one. I am with the rest of you that are getting bored with it. I need more of a change. The fact that it is only 30 minutes is what gets me thru it. Barb

I am doing the 30 Day Shred as well. It is simple movements to follow but very challenging. I love it!!!

I have completed day 6. I actually used my 3 pound weights during the cardio punching. That made it feel like I was really doing something. Today will be a tough day. We have a family gathering so it will be lots of all the wrong foods. Gotta find that willpower. Barb

Welcome and congrats on taking this step! You will love MFP. I credit alot of my weight loss to MFP! You should check out the message boards and join the challenges. That really helps motivate me. I love the people on here. Nothing like being with a group of people that can relate to struggling with weight issues. Barb

Why are you waiting until Monday to get back on track? What is wrong with starting right now? Just allow yourself 30 min, most anyone can fit that into their schedule. Barb

I am thinking that I would really like to get a Zumba dvd. But does it take a lot of floor space to do this? The room that I have at home doesn't have alot of space so I was a little scared of it. Barb

Did a 4 1/2 mile walk last night and got up early to complete Day 5 this morning! I can feel myself definitely advancing with the workout. I still do the girly push ups and probably always will. And that is just fine with me. As long as I am feeling the burn in my arms I don't care...haha But I am now facing away from the…

I keep forgetting to take my pics! :)

I completed Day 4 this morning before work and plan on doing my daily 4 mile walk this evening. I was able to do a little better at it today. It is amazing at the endurance change in just a few workouts. So thankful for this group. Y'all motivate me along with my sis who is doing this too. Barb

Great job!!! So glad that you are enjoying it.

Hey sis...glad that we are on the same board...lol Barb

I am going to try real hard to make the full 30 days straight. They I will rest a day or two and go to the Ripped in 30 dvd.

Did a 4-1/2 mile walk yesterday and then did Day 2 of 30 DS. Then this morning I got up early and went ahead and knocked out day 3. I am so darn sore right now, but it is a great sore!! I am loving this workout. Barb

Welcome aboard! I would love more support to. I will be glad to add you to my list! Barb

Ok..this had me cracking up. But you are so right. I am constantly having to run to the potty. But I just look at it as added cardio and getting me up from my desk alot!! :) Barb

Wow, I am so sorry! That bites. And you can't find where you are at all?
-
By the way, I used my heart rate monitor with this and it said that I burned 260 cals. I was pretty excited about that.

Don't be nervous. :) She gives some simple moves but just really tough. Just when you think you can't go any more she changes to a different exercise. I loved it!!

Not sure of the exact link but you can go to Amazon.com and click on instant videos and search 30 day shred. The video cost $1.99.

Well, my DVD didn't come in yesterday so I walked 4 miles. While trying to cool down from my walk, I decided to buy the level one instant video from amazon. Wow, that was a great workout. I like that it was simple moves but tough! Really easy to follow. I am really feeling it this morning! I took my measurements also:…

I would so love to join you all. My sis and I ordered our copies last week so I am hoping mine has come in today! I am super excited to get going with this. I have lost 43 pounds so far and really starting to look a little flabby so I am really hoping that this will help me firm up!! Barb

I have a New Balance HRM and mine reads differently than the elliptical or treadmill. My HRM asks for my height, weight, sex and age. The elliptical/treadmill doesn't it only ask for my weight and age. So I would assume that the HRM is more accurate since I have to provide more info. Barb

Oh I get very tired of it! But I would rather go thru the pains of that instead of weighing 220 pounds like I used to and eating whatever was out there. Hang in there and it will all be worth it!! :) Barb

I have shed 40 pounds and it was about at my 30 pound loss that I really started seeing a difference in my clothes. Hang in there and you will be amazed at the difference in your body.

Cardio, cardio , cardio! That is the main thing that will take care of your tummy (and any other problem area). Unfortunately we can't target one area. But with cardio you will burn the fat!
-
I go thru that alot but please don't get too discouraged by that number on the scale. If you can see that you are getting smaller either by tape measure or just in your clothes, that is what you really need to focus on! I know I love seeing the numbers on the scale go down but unfortunately they don't move alot. Especially…
-
I totally won't tell you that. Even though our weight loss is supposed to be about inches lost and not the number on the scale, it sure feels good to see that number go down. So just hang in there and the number on the scale will catch up to what the tape measure is already telling you! Barb

I usually give mine away. I have kept one pair of pants and a top so that when I reach my goal then I can look back at what I was wearing and be amazed! Barb
