I do Zumba mostly. And now I have a friend that I am walking with in the evenings. Zumba makes me want to burn calories though. It doesn't feel like work. :)

I always add them to my smoothies and oatmeal. I used to add them to my water but haven't done that in a while.

I do C25K Mon, Wed, and Fri mornings. Bike (at the gym) Tues and Thurs for 45 min. And starting to try and workout either on Sat or Sun...jogging one of those days. I honestly don't see why anyone should bash anyone else for what they eat. What works for one may not work for someone else. I am on a 1200 cal plan also. haha...they had ac they were trying to be conservative on the usage. So when you walked in it was stuffy. I am all for sweating but I want to have worked for the sweat!

I felt the same way when I first started. I was very nervous and I had to go alone. I just put my music on and was in my own little world. No one should be judging you...we all go for the same reason!!! So get in there and do what you have to do. You won't regret it!!!! And congrats on starting this!!!! :smile:

I use the one at the gym. My husband and I go early in the morning before work. I usually alternate between elliptical and bike but prefer elliptical. :smile:

All I have to say is congrats on your loss!!! I know people who have taken the weight off slowly with diet and exercise and STILL gained their weight back. So congrats to you!!!! Well done!!!!

I usually dread the first of the year with all the resolution people joining and crowding the gym. But I have started going at 5:30 in the morning cause my gym was starting to get too crowded now. A lot less people that early in the morning. I love it!!!! Can actually get a good workout now! :smile:

I would love to be part of this challenge. I have lost 60 pounds so far (gained 12 back :sad: ) And ready to get the rest of this weight off of me! I already use an elliptical but I know that I am not pushing myself as hard as I did in the beginning of this journey and hopefully this challenge will motivate me. Barb

I was just like you when I started trying to lose weight. I was very self conscious of going to the gym. But I finally did it on my own and have not regretted.
