I was super excited because I was down a pound this morning. I only worked out once last week and I have been allowing myself all the sugary treats. True I would have been happier with a bigger loss, but will gladly take my one pound loss!!! :happy:

Don't be too hard on yourself...there are lots of us who have skipped workouts during the holiday season. And I know that I will have to work out at home right now because my gym will be packed with all the resolution people.

That is awesome. It never occured to me to try something like that just to keep the walking interested. It would be neat to pick a stop point and follow your trip on a map!! Good luck with it!!

Weighed in this morning and my CW is 190.2. I had a .6 weight loss for the week. I wish it was more but that is all there was.

CW=190.2 I had a .6 weight loss for the week. So not where I wanted to be...I was hoping to be out of the 190's but that's ok. I will accept my .6 and move on to next week. :happy:

I am down 1.2 this week. My new weight is 190.8!!!! Woo hoo....almost in the 180's!!! I was really sweating the Thanksgiving food but I didn't eat nearly as bad as I feared that I would. Just dealing with alot of cravings right now but hopefully that will pass! Keep up the good work everyone!!!!

I never really thought of a "reward"...for me the fact that the weight will be gone is reward enough for me! But if I feel like I need a reward, I like your idea of jewelry...LOL

You did really good!! And thanks for the advice.....I need to learn how to put the fork down between bites and chew slower. I am so used to having to eat fast that I tend to eat way too fast which leads to over-eating. But here recently, I have been measuring most of my food out and that really helps too!!

Well, it is just gonna be my mom, hubby and myself so I am making some healthier sides this year. And really praying that my mom won't have so many desserts like she normally has.

Is anyone else here nervous about Thanksgiving? I find that I am getting really nervous the closer we get to it. There are always so many temptations. But the good thing is I am off work that week so I will have more time to dedicate to the gym but I am still really nervous! Barb

I am still at 194....No loss, No gain!!! But I am able to now fit into clothes that have been packed away for 5 years....YAY!!!

Don't worry about the candy today....that is done and over with! Just walk around when the stress starts getting too bad or get on here and search one of us out for support. :)

I do that too, even on the way to the gym sometimes. I keep raw almonds in my purse and munch on those when I am feeling that way!!!

I am just working out (mostly cardio) and really watching my calorie intake and output via MFP....MFP has been a huge blessing and help in my weight loss. Barb

I also noticed that I need to invest in some new scales. Mine only gives the whole number! So that may have to be something I buy in the very near future.
