Measurements. Measurements. Measurements!!! I would like to drum this in to everybody's head. Buy yourself a tape measure and measure yourself. Numbers on the scale shouldn't be the main focus here. If you're working out, you're building muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat. If you're taking in too much sodium and not…

I have a gym membership at Planet Fitness. Black Card - $20 a month with a $40 annual fee. Full use of equipment, personal trainer, tanning beds/red light therapy, massage chairs, half price drinks and a free guest pass. Only thing I wish my gym had was a pool and probably classes (spin, zumba, pole dancing, yoga etc.)

You'll see a big drop in numbers in your first 1-2 weeks, especially if you've upped your water intake. Initially it's water weight (mostly) - because now that you're drinking water regularly, your body doesn't need to hold on to it's excess stores. You'll notice you'll be going to the bathroom a lot more especially in the…

Goodness gracious! That is freaking fantastic! You've lost half of yourself. Well done. This is a wonderful transformation. Congrats! :drinker:

Welcome to the family and have fun on your fitness adventures! :)

After 3 years of inactivity and a terrible diet, my weight climbed to 256lb. When I finally decided to change things I lost 60lb in 6 months just by watching what I ate (I hopped from Atkins to Weight Watchers then eventually did my own thing) with no extra activity other than my daily routine. Now that I'm trying to lose…

Always looking for more friends! Feel free to add me. :)

Your body could be retaining water if you are eating too much sodium and not drinking a lot of water. That could be one reason. Change your food settings to show how much sodium you're taking and track it. But you're losing inches wise! And that's what counts more than the scale! It took a while but I had to train myself…

The numbers on the scale not budging could be a number of factors. Muscle weighs more than fat. You could be retaining water (not drinking enough water/eating lots of sodium). But the fact that you are losing inches should definitely make you feel awesome! Try not to focus too much on the scale as I've known people to…

If I could put cheese on everything, I would! I'm not eating as much of it as I used to but I have some at least once a day whether it's Philadelphia on toast or shredded on a stuffed pepper etc.

Well done ladies! Keep up the fantastic work! Whenever I see before and after photos they're always of petite girls and it's nice to see that I'm not the only one with a larger frame on this journey :) it gives me more motivation to keep going!

It took me a while but I finally learned not to go by the scale when wanting to lose weight/get in shape. Muscle weighs more than fat. So with all that exercise that you've been doing, you have been losing fat but building muscle at the same time. I would suggest investing in a measuring tape and tracking your progress…

I bought a pack of those something like 2 years back and still have them. Not sure if they're the same as yours but they're just a thin cotton type material and while I do wear them over my regular bras for extra support they don't do much in the way of keeping them in place when I'm jumping around like an idiot. Haha

Oh my god I just laughed so hard right now. I've noticed a few invites as well haha. Some people.. I really do appreciate the help though! I was beginning to think I was the only one on here bigger than a DD. :P
-
That's fantastic! Thank you. I've been wanting to start running for a little while now but haven't been able to find a good support bra. >.<
-
I'm looking at the website now. Thanks! I'm not running yet but jumping jacks yesterday was a real pain!
-
Thank you for this! :) I need to see if there's one in the area or if I can find them online!
-
Unfortunately VS don't have my size in bras so I doubt they would in sports bras. Thanks for the suggestion though! I'll check them out just to make sure. :)
-
I will definitely be looking in to that now :) Thanks!

It really does surprise me that there isn't more of a market for these. Either that or they haven't found a good way to advertize them. I would buy one in a heart beat for around $40-$50 if it wasn't cheaply made and a perfect fit. I'd probably second guess anything over that and with a little reluctance, end up buying it…

I forgot about that site! I went on it last year. I believe they do deliver to the US. If not, my mother lives in the UK and she can ship it to me. :)
-
I wouldn't mind paying around that for a good one that would last me a while. Hell, most of the time just the regular bras are that much in my size. It really does get annoying.
-
Feel free to add me! I'm on every day logging all my stuff. :)

I would suggest reading lots and lots of reviews on different sites like Amazon. I've looked in to it and it looks like the only downfall to the fitbit it's poorly made/cheap plastic that can break easily/over a short period of time. I'm sure obviously there are a bunch of people who can say theirs have been just fine and…

This website may help you when you're trying to figure out how many calories to eat etc. http://www.cordianet.com/calculator.htm From the stats that I entered this is what it tells me: Individual Weights: Hamwi Based Calculations: 117 pounds for a small frame, 130 pounds for a medium frame, and 143 pounds for a large…

Wow.. Just wow! You are doing such a fantastic job! Keep up the great work!

Before starting my fitness journey for the last time, I was craving chocolate practically every day. Since then I haven't had a craving for sweet treats but I did get some Skinny Cow Dreamy Clusters. They're caramel clusters covered in dark chocolate and they are absolutely fantastic! I was very surprised. And only 110…

Hi all! I'm Stacey, 23 and have been living in the Dayton area for a little over a year now (moved from England). I've met a lot of awesome people but haven't made a lot of friends, especially those I can hang out/work out with and who are going through the same life changing journey that I am. My trouble areas are finding…
