Ok, I'll post a pix, but how? I'm technically challenged.
-
this was certainly encouraging!!! I'm on day 6
-
Today was day 6, a little discouraging...I try to finish the whole session...indeed I take breaks. I stopped running before doing it. Might add just walking in the evening, but just want to do the program alone for at least 2 weeks. I'm still trying to get 1 push up done! Hang in there!
-
I'm a newbee too....just trying to hang in there! Insanity is the proper word for this work out.
-
Me too. I am still intimidated.
-
When I was single I often faced this delima...what I've learned is to take it to work and leave it for your co-workers.
-
How is the insanity for a newbee...I'm a little intimidated. Got it as a present. Supposed to start on Monday.
-
Count me in. I'm 5' 9.5 inches...still working on loosing the 40 pounds. Let's be supportive.
-
thanks to yours and all the quotes...I did not used to eat breakfast but for unclear reasons started. I can just as well stop because it is extra work with trying to get out of the house on time with 3 small ones. thanks

I'm over 40, and while maybe not as religious as you about exercise and the calories....I'm just having a hard time seeing progress. I will certainly check on this post to see what others have to say. Meanwhile, stay positive and upbeat!!!

Ok questions for you because your night sounded like a good party (I'm jealous). 1. Besides the food guilt, did you have a good time? 2. Did you and your man have some goodtimes later that night? If the answer is YES to both or either of these, then move past last night and plan for a couple's work out or walk today. I…

Agree 100%

I really like your suggestions. Especially about not eatin those "happy" foods when stressed. I am totally taking that advice starting in the morning! Lunchtime workouts are sometimes difficult but I can commit to walking around for 20 minutes instead of slaving away at my ----ing computer all lunch! Yaay. thank you

Hey....I'd like to applaud you today. You've got a lot going on. I went down a similar "bad" path this summer and packed on about 25 pounds. i'm still trying to get it off. Each day without making it a "candy" day or eating some chip/salty thing is a victory. My kidletts sometimes are indifferent to me too. I think they…

Ok, thanks for this. I was TOTALLY feeling the same way as the first writer here. I've been at this, seriously, for 5 weeks and NOTHING. I was weighing myself all the time and just quit. The tape wasn't that great either. Your comments were helpful and I'm looking forward to some beter more motivating days. urrrrrr

Easily one of the best stories! Kudos and continue to be victorious!

Like this! Will keep in mind because I too get frustrated with the scale. Thank you!

Hey, this traffic has been very encouraging. Really was struggling these last 2 weeks: someone thought I was walking but I was running....Does anyone have input regarding the weigh ins? 194 lbs on Saturday and 199 by Tuesday morning! Yuck.
-
Wow! I feel the same way. Thanks for this.
-
Thanks for this. A co-worker saw me outside and said, "See you are out there strolling!" Man! I was running!!! Please tell me I'm not a huge slacker because I really am trying, I'm just slow. I did finish my miles for the day, but I sure was discouraged.
-
Really like this! Will try it too.

I am so excited and encouraged to read these posts! Wow. I too was struggling..just got back to running. Week 2 of a 10K program. Still pretty slow. I did a 5K in July and came in 2nd to last. Oh, well.

I struggle with this too. I just keep telling myself "it didn't happen overnight." I'm working on writing down some concrete, viable goals to make at the end of the week.. You could try the same, with some non-food reward.
-
I too was struggling with this. I will open my diary...good luck. You can friend me if you like.

I've gotten similar comments. I'm certainly reading these posts to see what others have to say.
-
Indeed, I've had bad days, bad weeks. But, as several folk have said, don't give up. I've been trying to drink more water after "bad days."

Defintie set backs. started this week at 197 GW 175 :(

Just what I needed today. Really struggling trying to get back to an exercise program, stress with work, single parenthood, and knowing that I'm 20 pounds too big....Thank you.
