I donated majority of my clothes (there was nothing worth saving / having tailored) with the exception of one pair of jeans that are my Jared (subway guy) jeans. Every time I put them on it's a reminder of how far I have come. They currently slide right off me and someday I will hopefully have a picture of me standing in…

I had no idea either - what a great tip! I definitely will be keeping an eye on things and will either get checked out when i head up north or I'll find a doctor when I get back.

I love it! I just changed my calorie goal to the scooby recommendation.

If MFP is working for you - stick with it. For the most part the program is designed very well and it can be considerably less confusing. I stuck with the MFP settings until I started having issues, and then I made adjustments after doing extensive reading.

On the home tab, select the goals option and then change goals and you can manually input your calculated calorie goal and change your macros (percentage of carbs, protein and fat).

Was just coming back to post the scooby link! Haven't seen the oxygen one before though, checking it out now. Thanks!

Great minds my dear, great minds! :flowerforyou:

Couldn't edit my last post for some reason but just want it to be clear that I still plan on seeking out a physician in due time - I'm just relieved that my numbers were in the normal range.

Omg I love this post.... I can't wait to do a color run - looks you had so much fun! Congrats on your loss

Woop woop for local Fire Departments and amazing friends! I went to Walgreen's to get a reading and my BP came back at 101/78 (the pharmacists had me sit down for 5 minutes before she took and then spent a few minutes fumbling around) and when I got out to my car my amazing friend (who I met on MFP) called me and told me…

I'm going to speak with someone at the pharmacy near me in just a few minutes - I will definitely ask if they offer free testing. Thanks for the tip!

I absolutely agree and I assure you I am not taking this lightly. Like I said, I will reach out to my mom and see if she can help me cover some of the costs when I get back up north.

I get headaches from time to time but as far I can tell there hasn't been any head pain when these whiteouts or dizzyness occur. I don't know anything about ocular migraines so does no pain more or less rule it out or no?

I'm going to stop at a pharmacy on my way out and see if I can find one of those blood pressure machines and when I get back in the house I am going to call my mom and see if we can go see my former primary and ask her to help me cover the costs (at least any initial ones that have to be paid immediately). I fly out of GA…

This is probably really stupid - but when I go to the doctor and they strap that thing on my arm - aren't they testing for blood pressure with that? I did have that done when I went for my "womanly" check up a few weeks ago and they said everything was fine (although that could not be blood pressure reading so this could…

I use an App on my phone to track my walks, runs and bike rides and always enter whatever it tells me instead of the MFP provided calorie burn. I know neither is as accurate as an HRM (will be getting one in September hopefully) but for now I go with my phone.

To each their own but increasing my calories worked for me.

lmao

I used the podcasts from Robert Ullreys for my music and guidance on when to switch into a different interval and I used the Endomondo app to track time, spped, distance and estimated kcals. Both for free I can't get on it from my work computer but I believe coolrunning.com has a schedule on their site that you can look at.

Another vote for C25k!!

I was having the same issue and increasing my water intake helped me. I never use to track my water because I typically drink a lot but when I started tracking it I realized I had seriously slacked off for a few weeks. Haven't seen stars in a few days.

Chicken breast with some bbq sauce on it mixed into a bowl with brown rice and veggies (cooked from frozen, plain). Chicken breast ~6oz. Pre-heat oven to 425 and squirt a bit of bbq sauce on foil on a baking sheet. Rinse chicken breast (I buy large packages and then portion them out to meal sized for me and my BF and then…
