  • Buy Old Navy jeans a size down. They stretch soooooo much. If you put them on and bend your legs and squat a bit, they will stretch out to a point of being comfortable.

  • I can't b/c my ticker weight loss is based on my weight when I started MFP and I've lost 6 pounds since starting here. So unless there's a way to change my starting weight, I don't know how to change my ticker!

  • I did South Beach a few years back and lost about 15 pounds. But it was super hard. I ate lots of eggs, chicken, salad. Did you research South Beach at all? It's a good lowcarb plan and after the first 2 really strict weeks, you slowly introduce "better" carbs into your diet.

  • I'm sorry for your loss. Stress can do crazy things to our bodies. Are you taking any meds for stress/depression due to the situation. A lot of anti depressants can cause weight gain.
  • Thank you! I know if you have kidney disease you should be careful about eating too much but I don't have any kidney issues. I love my protein and don't want to cut it back!
