Salty snacks like chips, cheese and the occasional sour candy!

I'm a roller derby rookie/fresh meat, just started this February! I'm skating with The Royal Swedish Roller Derby, my team is The Brass Knuckle Harlots (http://theroyalsrd.se/ and http://harlotgirls.wordpress.com/). I absolutely LOVE it and I'm completely hooked! A few of us are doing the Roller Derby Challenge, why don't…

If you can, try making the tomato sauce yourself! Premade/storebought often have a lot of sugar in them which is totally unnecessary. Here's what I do: 1 can of chopped tomatoes 1 onion 2 garlic cloves 1 tbsp of cooking oil (I usually use rapseed oil) 1 bouillon cube 1 tsp of pesto Balsamic vinegar Spices (oregano, black…

I'm 5'4 and mine is 65 kg, which would be around 143 lbs. It will give me a BMI of 24.8. It is just below the border for "normal", and since I'll be striving to gain some musclemass that seems reasonable. My dreamweight that I know I can't reach would be 60 kg (132 lbs).

Hahaha, love it! The tattoo I'm planning is Star Trek- themed and it is also gonna be down my side. I've heard that the ribcage is the most painful place to tattoo, but I'm gonna do it anyways!

A while ago a Swedish TV-show about sex did a test to see how many calories one burn while having sex. The setup was (of course) heteronormative and the two participants (yes, they were only 2, so this isn't scientific at all) had vaginal, penetrative sex (with the exception of one position) in four positions: girl on top,…

I want to lose around 7 kg (~15 lbs), but most of all I want to tone up, build some muscles and get fit!

I know that you can do it!! Let's inspire and motivate eachother, it is so much easier to do it together than to struggle alone  Also, you are gorgeous!

Thanks to everyone for sharing your stories, it feels so good to know that I am not the only one who is struggling with these issues. I look forward to getting to know more of your guys and for us to help eachother to reach our goals! The best of luck to all of you, you are in my thoughts!

Indeed! As soon as I can afford it again I'll join a gym so I can start lifting weights! For now, I'm gonna start with the roller derby workout challenge, there's no weights in it but plenty of push ups, lounges, burpees and things like that :)

Well, I try to. Going to nude beaches is one of the things that I do to learn to accept my body. It might seem contradictory, but it helps to surround myself with "natural" bodies instead of the ones I am served on TV/billboards/magazines. It's weird, but I generally feel more conscious about the way I look when I am fully…

I do actually enjoy nude beaches, and I try to go skinnydipping as often as I can! It feels great to be naked around other naked, completely normal bodies (skinny, fat, old, young, tall, short, whatever) around you instead of the photoshopped, plastic Barbiebodies that one is bombarded with constantly in our society today.

Eat broccoli and cauliflower! You can either add them into almost any food that you're making (pies, stews, casseroles, salads etc) or steam/boil them and have them as a sidedish. Delicious and packed with fiber and lots of vitamines and minerals :) Also, replace your rice with quinoa, which is also a good source of…

Hi! My name is Rebecca, but you can call me CrashC*ntess (seems like MFP censors my derbyname)! I am a rollderby rookie who just started skating for The Royal Swedish Roller Derby, a rather new league based in Stockholm, Sweden. I got introduced to derby last summer by a friend of mine, and together we joined the RSRD in…
