Guacamole, fajitas, go with corn tortillas and skip the rice. If you like pork, the puerco colorado looks tempting. Still, skip the rice and go with corn tortillas instead of flour.

I agree with everything posted so far. I plan breakfast and lunch pretty closely because I have to pack them for work. Then I keep a variety of veggies and a couple of protein options in the fridge to construct dinner. Like right now, I have some chicken sausage, cooked pinto beans, and a roasted chicken. That way I can…

You have 6 pages of answers, but I have to chime in! NOT lame! Walk on! And while you're at it, pick up some like-minded new friends along the way! Have fun!

I haven't tried the ones mentioned by others here, but I swear by Enell. I'm wearing one under my tri-top in my picture. Swim, bike, and run!
-
Thanks for posting! Can't wait to try them out!

Enell. I wear it for all my workouts, but especially triathlon. Even wet it does the job. They carry it (and a lot of others mentioned here) on Bare Necessities. That makes it easy to order multiple brands to see what works.

Bump for later.

Very helpful thread. Question for those of you who are posting your progress: When you're posting the weight is it the weight you have on the bar? Or is it the weight on the bar + the bar's weight. For example today I had 20# on the bar, but I've learned the bar is 45#. So it's actually 65? I'm in the second week of…

Congratulations! That's just awesome! Get that 26.2 bumper sticker. Get several and put them on the car, the door to your classroom, anywhere. Do your students know what a bada** their teacher is? What about your fellow teachers? Seriously though . . . enjoy the accomplishment!

Oh, yeah, and I forgot to mention I've been wearing the same ones for several years. I need new ones because I've lost enough to need a smaller size. But they are built to last.

Enell all the way! http://enell.com/ I was a 44H when I started wearing them. Amazing comfort and support. No underwire. And if you're feeling bold . . . you could wear it by itself like the skinny girls in their bra tops!

Great ideas! I was just trying to brainstorming about spaghetti squash. Thanks for posting!

Some people noticed immediately -- like 5 lbs. One day I ran into a woman at work I hadn't seen in around 30 lbs. She was stunned and complimented my hair and makeup and then called me to tell me how great I look. She didn't want to embarrass me by saying, "Wow, you've lost a lot of weight!" out in public. I appreciated…

I work in the same office as someone who used Nutrisystem. I thought it looked disgusting, and she hated it. At the same time I was looking for the same concept. I just wasn't successful at the whole planning, cooking, portioning. I felt like I needed help. I looked around and found a meal plan that was just that -- meals.…

I HAVE to go shopping this weekend. Even my old smaller clothes are so big, I'm self-conscious. Also many of my shoes don't even fit anymore! And I think I might have to buy a belt -- which I haven't had in many years.

Good luck! And have fun with it!!

I'm in PA, and that's about what I've experienced. Actually, I think that's on the low end here -- depending on the organizer.

Don't we all cheer win or lose? #SECLOVE -- On topic: Loved the story! I so needed the laugh today! I work somewhere with a gym onsite. I don't even like ending up on a treadmill next to someone from my direct area, much less the full frontal experience in the locker room. So glad to know we're all bearing it with as much…

All due respect to the Gators, but "Go *kitten*!" Couldn't resist given the locker room to SEC turn of this thread.

WEAK? Anything but! You're showing incredible, heroic strength. Just don't forget to keep some for yourself! You CAN do this, but beating yourself up will sap your strength. Be gentle with yourself.
-
Hilarious! I so needed this laugh today! Now I'm off to find a workplace with weapons on the wall!

Personally, I find MFP quite distracting. I keep going back to it and reading posts. It's informative and entertaining. As for funny stories . . . I took my first run outside in the dark this morning. I took my dog to an enclosed field that is more commonly referred to as a dog park. I ran while he "hoovered" the dog park.…

I'm in the same predicament. My solution was alterations and a couple of new wrap dresses. The wrap makes them very flexible. I'll probably pick up a new pair of black pants, but I'm being conservative for now. I'm still "plus" sized; so I'm not confident about finding much in thrift stores.

The motivation was a little different than the actual kick in the *kitten* to get started. The motivation came in the form of a reward. I was selected for a work assignment that would take me to Peru, and I would have the opportunity to take a side trip to Machu Picchu. I knew it would be nearly impossible for me at almost…

My favorite denim skirt nearly fell off today. Hadn't tried it in a while. From about the day after I bought it, it was a bit too tight.

Yes, real thing -- exercise induced asthma that is -- to the woman who questioned whether it was real. There are treatments. Revolutionized my fitness life.

Brilliant!
