Good Morning Team!!! My starting weight is 204.
-
Hey Team!!! Is everybody ready for tomorrow???? I just about have everything in place. I'll be awaking at 0400 to get my first workout of the day in (that way if the second workout doesn't happen I'll be okay ;-)). DVD's are in place, hand weights and mat are set out...now all I have to do is get my butt out of bed when…
-
I am also going to start the 100 pushup program (google 100 pushups) along with situp and squats. I need to improve in all 3 areas to pass my Fitness test in June. Any takers????
-
YES!!!!
-
brendasmom,, thanks I thought it was probably to protect the wood floors and not my butt...it has enough padding lol
-
thanks for the replys..is the mat mainly for slippage or should it be padded? I have a yoga mat..would that work?
-
I've heard the same thing and I bought 1....haven't done anything with it since...Look forward to seeing responses.
-
Carmelasergi, I feel your pain. Yes, lets motivate each other through this...:-)
-
From NOLA now in the ATL.
-
Chris the whole "burns all day" thing really makes me think I need to set my alarm for 4:00 am :-)
-
25-29, Okinawa, Japan...I'd take a do over today. 165lbs....lean, mean fighting machine :-)
-
I normally do because at this stage I have to know what I can\can't eat. I will start logging my workouts in advance too to make sure I'm not eating too little....never thought I'd say that ;-)
-
Thanks Everyone!!!! Y'all are right about everything lol... if I get up and get it out of the way then anything else that I can fit in is just lagniappe... I can't get into a routine because "something" comes up every day..it seems anyway. it would definitley be easier for me to go to bed at 9pm as opposed to working out…
-
Doug, thanks for the cadence...brought back memories. You are so right...everyday I get caught up by other "stuff" and I'm just sinking deeper and deeper into not working out.
-
So starting Friday we'll be tracking...correct? How do y'all want to track\post etc....I'm excited about this... I need the motivation. I have the whole eating thing down...now I have to get my butt moving. :-)
-
I'm in....feel free to add me as a friend....I'd be over the moon happy to lose 10 lbs in April
-
Yep I got the book and figured out where I need to be in zone 3. I did like the info on the AHA website....very insightful.
-
Thanks justsayit!! Our goals are much alike. I too need to be in the weight loss zone. I am 47, 205lbs. I went to the site you posted but now I see that those numbers are for the "healthy heart" zone 1. I too need to be in Zone 3..... UGH!!! this is confusing :-)
-
Sorry. I have the Timex T5G971 and Yes, i was referring to the zones.
-
I am very type A and to have everything planned for the week is crucial to my success...thanks for all the info!!!!!
-
THANK YOU!!! kao708!!!
-
Do y'all also plan your calories burned in advance to so that you don't constantly have a deficit late in the day...that worries me....I
-
Excellent!!! Thank you that is exactly what I was looking for. NOW I understand and it makes absolute sense.....the body will rebel with only 600-80 net cals a day consistently.
-
I don't mean to be dense but can you explain to me how MFP figures in a deficit in my 1200 cal a day? what goes into that etc...I guess I still don't understand the whole formula...
-
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! This makes so much sense!!! and it also explains why I feel so worn out. I will start eating my earned calories today!!!!
-
Thanks for the feedback y'all.
-
BCarrasco13 - Thanks for the feedbac!!! It did getthe majority of really good reviews and like with everything it got some not so good reviews. I did purchase it from Amazon. I'm gonna give it a try tonight.
