I will celebrate the BIG 5-0 on May 29th....so by June 1st I will be 170-175. CW = 206. Bring it on!!!!

what time do you go to sleep at night!
-
that is EXACTLY what has happened everyday this week!!!!
-
I like this idea....it is so true..better to start the habit now than when the darkness lasts all morning :-)
-
WOW!!!! Thanks for the feedback and encouragement. I think the biggest thing for me is knowing that once I get my "main" workout in then anyhthing I do in the evening is lagniappe (a little something extra). I LOVE that idea because I am on the go alot in the afternoon. The first thing I'm doing when I get home is moving…

dad106 - Nope this is perfect... I just want HR and cals in the gym. Thanks for all your insight!!!
-
so was the FT7 a good purchase or should I have gone with something more recent?
-
Thanks a bunch dad106!!!! . I just took it out the box and had never seen an attachment for the strap like this one so I was very unsure of what I'd purchased but I've read tons of good reviews here on MFP and other sites. Do you think it's best to hand wash the strap? I'm leary about putting it in the washing machine with…

BUMP I'm interested in this...
-
hmm I guess I will have to try different formulas. my BMI is 29% (208pds) so I am definitely up there in the fat arena.
-
Should I adjust my FAT cals too in addition to my carbs? How does the FAT cals affect weight loss?
-
Wow!! THANKS!!!! I'm going to adjust my carbs to 20% which is 65g a day and see how that works and I will be patient for a week or two to give it time to work. I feel excited about this change :-)
-
Can you adjust the percetages in MFP?
-
Thanks for the Great Feedback.!!! is there a setting in MFP for lower carbs or do y'all do your own adjustments?
-
thanks for the feedback y'all. I think I'll go with the sedentary and figure that any extra burn is just that ...extra... and will show on the scale.
-
Thanks for the feedback!!!!
-
Chris, thanks for the feedback. I have a forerunner with HRM (used to run alot) and never really used the HRM with it. Does it use the HRM to calculate your calories when you run? I miss running and am working my way back out there :-)
-
Thanks Angela!!! I know what you mean that's why I have too do more than just run because right now I only burn about 200 cal running because I can't go as long with my HR up.
-
Ah that makes sense!! I didn't even think about how it's all figured in. I'll set mine to sedentary and wear my HRM when I'm doing my massive amount of projects around the house. :-)
-
Hmm now I'm even more confused :-) I do like the commonly used definitiions and was surprised at the MPF ones....at the same time I wouldn't consider my job a desk job for 8 hours a day but I'm not a salesman either :-) Oy Vey

Hi Angela, I did a circuit of Ellyptical (HIIT), core\ab work, calisthenics, 10 minute training DVD, and strength training. I was huffing and puffing but it felt good...again as I get more fit I know my cal burn won't be as high but riight now I am just really out of shape.
-
Thanks for the feedback. I agree that I think it is definitely because I've never done this type of circuit training before. I'm building up my running base and have to throw something else in there because I can't go as far on a run right now. When I'm doing the DVD's (30 day Shred, Biggest Loser Cardio, 10 minute…
-
I agree 100%...
-
I find...like today...when I work out the muscles that are sore it actually loosens them up and I'm not as sore...My abs hurt so bad the morning it hurt to breath...I just do some core work and feel 100% better.
-
I have a Timex and really like it so far. I think I finally figured out my zones and it seems to be accurate.
-
thanks for he input....the MFP database only has a couple sauces so I guess i'll have to do some figuring when I have time.
-
EXCELLENT!!!! As someone told me the other day STOP BLAMING EVERYONE AND EVERYTHING ELSE AND LOOK IN THE MIRROR.
-
Great Idea I'll look up another TexMex restaurant. I figure I'll stick to salsa, chicken combos with no sauces\gravys and I should be okay I still have about 700 calories left today(with morning workout cals) without an afternoon workout.
-
thanks vanfox23...i did have to stop a few times but I know it'll get better with consistency.
-
thanks y'all...I guess I'm so out of the loop on fitness it seemed high but I do have my HRM set with my zones for my ages etc..so I'll check again and go with it.
