  • Love my cereal.....so much so that when there is milk left in the bowl I just go right ahead and keep adding cereal until the milk is gone....not good lol
  • I became a vegetarian about a year ago, before then I only ate poultry b/c I never really liked red meat. I watched a documentary about how animals are treated and slaughtered for food and decided I wanted no part in that (my dog whining in my lap during the documentary helped drive that decision). I ate fish for about…
  • Started Insanity last Monday so I am on week 2 now! This is INSANE!!!!! I am not seeing any results yet but I am going to stick with it. I am trying to get my husband involved too. There is something about Shaun T that motivates me. He is a tough instructor but in a friendly way!!!! Yah, anyone that wants to add me feel…
  • I LOVE my beer and wouldn't give it up for anything. I probably only drink one or two nights a week but my trick is to find a nice lager (none fo that light beer nasty junk) and have 2-3 (usually around 200 calories a piece). Since it is only once or twice a week I would rather enjoy the beer and try to exercise a bit more…
  • ditto :)
  • Chobani has "kids" size packaging now with 100 calorie greek yogurt in a few flavors (the best is honeynana which is honey and banana lol). I eat one of those and sprinkle in about 1/8 cup of granola (auroras natural) and it ends up being under 200 calories and really filling b/c of complex carbs and protein! :)
  • Definitely take a day to rest so you can get right on to that May goal tomorrow! My stepmother and I went to give blood once and even though she had plenty of iron and drank plenty of water she passed out after giving blood because she had gone for a mild jog earlier in the day (and she is pretty healthy). You don't have…
  • How about a tea kettle I don't think anyone mentioned this. Most teas (or coffees) don't have any calories and I hate using my calories on drinks (unless it is Trop50 :) )! I have a keurig and earl grey K cups so I don't even need the kettle and I can have a nice cup of tea for a snack anytime :)
  • I live with just my husband and try to cook healthy for both of us but it's tough when he is eating a bag of potato chips or some greasy Mcdonalds (even though I know I hate the stuff) and I am eating my yogurt and almonds lol. I do have my mother on myfitnesspal and she is very supportive I think it helps just to have at…
  • Try getting some friends together to kick a soccer ball around or play basketball. Even if you aren't good at either (I'm not) it is a fun way to exercise and will motivate you to do it more often b/c your friends are involved!
  • I hate running outdoors but want to eventually run a marathon so I guess my wonder treadmill and I will have to part ways (so much more fun to run while watching Gilmore Girls lol)
  • I agree the incline of #1 will make the treadmill more like running outdoors. Also I am not sure if you have thought of this but even if you have mild allergies it can be much harder to run outdoors. I only run indoors on the treadmill b/c of my allergies. Try running later in the day/early evening to avoid most of the…
