If you are a gardener, find some seeds for charentais melons. They are similar to cantaloupe, and very good. And you can't find them in stores.

It's kind of sad, the level of disconnect some people have with the world around them. When they are in season, fresh picked local peaches!!!!!! The BEST. There is no other food on the planet that makes me slap my knee and jump up and down because it tastes that good. I plan to plant another peach tree this year, too.

Eating things that don't need or have a lot of sodium are great. Does your school have fruit available? I agree that limiting processed foods is key, because most processed food are loaded with sodium.

Are you taking rest days? Are you making sure to include low calorie density food into your day? Are you including high nutrient density food into your day? Are you eating too much sodium?

Juice fasts are really not necessary, but if you do a juice fast, why not try a lesser amount of time? I am a fan of water fasting, and i have done juice fasts before, and from my experience, i really think that 30 days is a bit much.

If you have anorexia, your dietician probably just wants you to maintain a healthy weight. I would imagine that telling an anorexic to avoid a certain food, for whatever reason, would not be beneficial to the anorexic person. But, like every one else said, the best person to clarify her position is her. Ask her.

I think you are doing well. If you eat snacks, as opposed to letting yourself get ridiculously hungry and then stuffing your face, than you are doing the right thing, in my mind.

Often when i'm craving cheese or meat, i'm usually craving fat, or just more calories in general. I eat some avocado in a big ol' salad, or sometimes with rice and beans, and the craving usually goes away.
