I go to the 'birthday cake event' with my water and an apple in tow (although, I'm celiac and can't have cake anyhow). Just bring a healthy snack and when offered - say 'no thanks - i'm good' :happy:

This - Mirena (with hormones) is no problem for me either. The Doctor was ultra careful with insertion (wore two sets of gloves and kept everything very sterile) there was no pain with insertion, periods stopped, I have no cramping and have lost about 35 pounds since middle of Sept. 2012. Yeah, I started last week and lost 3 pounds, which was double what I've been seeing for the past 5 months - I've lost a total of 8 pounds since Jan 1, and would like to get to my goal weight by the end of May. Hopefully I'll see great results week after week until then.

I had the best results with rollerblading, legs really got a workout and toned up wonderfully!:happy:
