Since I did not hit it last month, my goal is 75 miles again! Thank you!

Its all about trial and error.... are you wearing no show socks? Are your socks too loose? You just have to try different things until you find what works. When I started running longer distances, I was getting blisters on the sides of my toes so I found toe socks that are made to wear with those 5 toe shoes and it worked…

That is absolutely amazing! For your muscles, try a very hot Epsom salt bath.... works wonders! and stretch stretch stretch! Great job!

I have had knee pain too. I now run with a brace, not a band, for support. I have also focused on strangth training my legs and core which has helped. One of the big things I have learned is that if it hurts and I do not do anything, it makes my knee stiff and makes the pain worse. So, I ride my bike, get on a elliptical…

I am planning on having 1 more kiddo in a couple of years, so I am actually hanging onto a lot of my clothes.... just in case. I know that I will never give up fitness or healthy eating again, but being preggers you never know. I am not one of those girls who can fit into their pre-pregnancy jeans 2 weeks after giving…

I live in NW Florida and here from April to September it is hot and humid.... it takes a good month to get used to it. My husband is very physically fit. He is doing MMA training, weightlifting and some running in there too. A few weeks ago, he was training and got crampy, stretched and kept going. He went to his MMA…

I have noticed too that I eat most of my calories after lunch so I traded my pringles for a protein bar with my salad in an effort to stay fuller longer and not eat all of my calories so late in the day. I do have a hard time not eating while relaxing and watching TV. I have "munchies" snacks.... a 100 calorie bag of…

This is my favorite too! Plus they are now coming out with new ones that are orange creamsicle, key lime pie, banana cream pie and some coconut one. They are awesome!

Is this a fear that you have of something that might happen to you? I run and I never warm up.... the warm up is usually the first ten minutes of a run. Obviously you are not a runner..... especially since you think a treadmill is embarrassing.... get on one once in a while.

I usually get a grilled chicken salad with the fat free honey mustard or raspberry vinegarette. I also get a ice cream cone! All under 400 calories and awesome!

I have a 10 yo and a 3 yo who is attached to my hip as well! My husband loves to workout so we try to take turns in the evenings and on the weekends. Since your wife gets up at 6 pm, can you go then? I also workout at home and do it in the living room where my kids watch TV... that way the little one still feels close to…

Good for you for admitting and acknowledging! He will learn..... this place is full of forums of what to do and what not to do. Everybody is different and what some people say doesn't work, works well for others. Maybe he will feel more comfortable after a little while and allow things to come back to him. Maybe it is more…

I am going to do my first triathlon in the fall too! Luckily for me, my mom is an amazing traithlete. She is competing in the World Championships (for the 2nd time) in London this fall! I have spent many mornings watching her race and lots of time hanging around triathletes and listening to them. I plan on using that…
