  • Hi! Bumping this back up.. I'm about to be *gulp* 26! After baby 2 I am struggling so hard to get back to a healthy weight! Currently 206 and my long term goal is 140-150! (Height is about 5'7'' so I'm apparently considered "obese")
  • I use (usually) one packet of pure stevia a day in my morning smoothie. Or if I decide to have a coffee. Normally I wouldn't condone use of them either - use the good stuff like you mentioned. However...I'm trying to keep my carb intake low. When I can graduate to "maintenance level" I will use honey instead. The response…
  • I am here for support as well :)
  • I agree with what everyone else said. It's normal. Cutting grains is the best thing to start with - and, IMO, the easiest. The sugar is hard (I sometimes use sugar or the pure stevia stuff). I also consume dairy in forms of organic yogurt mostly, and sometimes organic dairy milk. I absolutely LOVE TJ's half and half…
  • Hey there! Did the full distance in the park for training this past Sunday - it was hot! But I did it :) More training to come! I'm a mid foot runner :)
  • Welcome!!
  • Love this!

  • Super dark chocolate and a pina colada (sans alcohol, add coconut oil) smoothie usually do the trick :)
  • Great job! Keep up the good work!!!
  • My "meal replacement" shake is a coconut milk/coconut oil smoothie with a few berries and organic yogurt. Keeps me full (literally) ALL day.
  • Cool link! I wasn't familiar with it - will need to read it more! First 10k is June 8th! Which means...this Sunday I will be running the full length! :) Hopefully it's cool enough. Ran yesterday in the upper 80s and it was a struggle - yikes!
  • Oh me too me too! Full time working (single) mom! :)
  • I was looking into FCLO. I was thinking of that, paired with ZMA and Coq10. I eat a pretty good diet considering the SAD. But I don't eat offal (yet). How do you feel on FCLO? Is there a marked improvement?
  • ^ This. LOL. I'm available for friend requests :)
  • That sounds great! I think it'll be cheaper in the long run too, making it yourself instead of buying into those products. Way back in a previous life, I worked 16 hours days 5 days a week - I lived on coffee. It was brutal. I have higher standards now than I did when I was 18 (in terms of food), but I remember surviving…
  • If you want to do HIIT training outside - DO IT! There are a ton of apps that you can use while training outside :)
  • Not sure what type of diet you follow, but I do know a lot of meal replacement shakes have a bunch of garbage ingredients. You could try making your own with egg white protein (whole egg protein is still way too expensive, IMO), cocoa (or cacao) powder, coconut oil (help keeps you full), milk of your choice - and boom…
  • Interesting! Jeez, how do you guys keep track of all that? ;) "guys" meaning male and female - I'm from the way North - "guys" is all encompassing LOL
  • Welcome!! Congrats on your recent weight loss!
  • Hey PrimalRunner! Thanks for your input!! I think I need to incorporate more strength into my routines. I also think I may need to give my body some time to adjust and get more fat!
  • Love the pic! I have a hard time taking pics..mainly because I eat it too fast ;)

  • I feel you there! When I get home from work it's already 5:30 and I'm usually hungry so I like to make things in 30 minutes or less. I suck at planning because I try to focus on getting enough sleep during the week (after packing lunches, working out, getting kiddo to bed, getting myself ready in the morning, blah blah…
  • Sorry this is late - thanks for the post everyone! I appreciate the feedback. Runningjen - I like how you do things, I can't do low carb (tried, and I suffered HARD - hormones, etc) so I'm shooting to stay around 100g a day.
  • I usually eat bacon, hard boiled eggs, a small portion of fruit, and my "smoothie." My smoothie usually consists of unsweetened almond milk or coconut milk, coconut creme, coconut oil, maca, cacao powder and magnesium powder (and maybe a little hemp protein when I need a boost). ^ That REALLY gets the calories up.
  • Glad this thread is here, I'm a mama to a rowdy 2 year old girl. I'm not a stay at home mom, she spends a couple days a week with my grandma, and the others with a sitter at sitter's house. They all eat CRAP. I mean CRAP. How do I approach this subject? What can I quickly put together for her throughout the day? I have a…
  • I paid $50 for eMeals (paleo dinners, "healthy" breakfasts and lunches) for a year. I don't use it, I don't find it helpful. If I could give my membership to someone I would. I only wasted 50 and feel salty. Sorry about being ripped off :(
  • Bumping up again.. I'm around the North Olmsted area :))
  • This is my kind of thread!! I LOVE beer. Yuengling is my favorite (even their light beer is tasty). I love Sam Adams (cherry wheat, pumpkin ale, yum). Ah I could go for a beer. I do love some crafty ales too, although I never remember the names of them (;
  • Hahaha! Oh gosh.. the things they study! I don't know any man that would give up bacon..and yet babies are still being born!
  • Definitely want to follow this. Did anyone have more children after having implants? Tired of having mommy boobs!
