Parent. I WISH I were going out tonight, but it's Matt's night to go out. Wahh!
-
Thanks, you guys! Metaphoria, I've never heard of peabutter before! Will have to check it out.
-
I managed to hold it together until this post. Excellently done.

I don't juice or "cleanse," but that sounds like it would be a great smoothie!

I'm glad my response was helpful for you! Good luck. :)

I don't know how old your baby is - that makes a difference, because a newborn doesn't eat as much as a 6-month old. But please, PLEASE up your caloric intake immediately. If your milk supply is dropping, it is because you are starving yourself. I am still nursing my 20-month old, and he LOVES the boob. On days when he…

Us on our wedding day (5 years ago this past December): Us on our fifth wedding anniversary: I weigh 35 pounds less than I did on my wedding day - maybe more -- and Matt is probably about the same. I am the strongest and fittest I've ever been in my life, and once again, Matt would say the same. :) Even boot camp didn't do…

Good gravy -- you are amazing and a HUGE inspiration. My hat is off to you, sir! Good luck with your surgery. :)

Holy ****, man. You win the everything. Applause!

Yes. Plus, be born to parents who had the right combo of genes to gift you a body suitable for dance.
-
Okay, this was bugging me so much that I actually got up from a nap to type this response. :) When people say they want a "dancer's body," they typically mean a professional ballet dancer. The thing they forget is that there are many, many people who have aspired to become professional dancers but didn't make it because…

No reason you can't have both. I'm a bellydancer, and I also lift heavy.
-
I could never hate a man with a body like this.
-
Bad. *kitten*.

I'm quoting wholesale from a comment on the Hairpin because I think it's 100% correct: "I read an article in Harpers about the fear of vaccines and the author looked back at the history of the term "filth" and basically concluded that "toxins" are the new "filth" as a catchall phrase to mean invisible things privileged…

I think this should become A Thing, like planking or owling. /2009 cultural references

I would just like to note, for the record, that Emany and I each just tried to fit mini marshmallows in our bellybuttons as a result of this thread. (He fits an entire one; I do not.) Carry on.

Thank you, thank you! And likewise!

Ah, but your phrasing implied that this was some sort of special truism for women only. It's not.

Okay, so, here are my pics. I have been lifting heavy for about 8 months, but only able to do so once a week. I just got a bench, bar & plates at home, though, so now I can lift anytime, and I am IN HEAVEN. :D I also have been working almost exclusively on romanian DL rather than OLY (simply because I like romanian more),…

There, fixed that for you.

Oh. My. God. Those are INSANE stats, and I am in awe. Bow down!

Hmmm - maybe I'm a weirdo but I LOVE burpees! Mountain climbers, though, can DIAF. As far as the kettlebell kegel comment goes - I giggled like a crazy woman when I read that. I thought I was the only one who noticed that..... err.... particular side effect of the swing. :D <3 me some swings -- I'm doing 'em with 50 pounds…

Okay, here goes nothing. I like my body quite a bit these days -- I'm at my goal weight, but constantly working on adding muscle -- but two pregnancies have left a significant mark on my body. With my daughter, I was stupid and gained 80 pounds when I was already overweight to begin with, ending at 265 pounds the day I…

I love all the guys on this thread. You are awesome. :)

I hear that all lesbians love performing for dudes. They may like the ladeez, but what really turns them on is having **** in the room.

Well, I'm 5'8" and in maintenance mode (just working on building muscle and reducing fat), work out 6 days a week (mostly HIIT and heavy weight lifting), and I also breastfeed a toddler. For me, maintenance is about 3300 a day. ;) I achieved rapid weight loss (30 pounds in 8 weeks) at 2600-2700 cals a day. Yay for people…
