Well I gained 5 lbs from Tuesday to Sunday! WOW man! I know some of it was probably water weight & I have already lost 1-2 lbs of it. you should read the topic "bad girl" & my response to it. I was miserable yesterday but today is a whole new day, keep trying!

yep, I learned something about having my cheat day and that's never to make it a whole day like that again. Just a cheat meal. I end up getting way off track. Well we live & learn right? :0)

when I last weight in with my personal trainer I was 147. a couple weeks went by & I had gone up but then gone back down so my weight was the same. However, I still lost a half ince here & a quarter inch there so weight doesn't really matter! plus people are telling me I look thinner.

But I thought the deficit meant for example "500 calories remaining" 500 would be the deficit. after you have entered your excercise for the day & you have already eaten all your calories. I should't eat those 500 calories should I? (If I am trying to lose weight)

it is good to do light cardio when sick. Well except for when you are at the worst stages of your sicknes. Then you should rest & drink as much liquids as possible, even though it's hard to drink water when your throat is all scratchy. So I would walk on the tread mill for like 30 mins or something. realistically it would be to cut out the beer for a little while & see if you notice a change. that's why it's called a beer belly, right? Do you drink lots of beer? If not then i'm not really sure. I wish you luck!!!

I am having the opposite problem-too much carbs & not enough protein. When trying to stay within 1200 cals a day I don't eat enough protein cause most protein stuff seems to have lots of calories. Any suggestions?

as long as you stick to 1200 cals a day it doesn't really matter when you eat. You will still lose weight. so if u still have 300 left & it's past that time at night, I wouldnt worry about it.

I tried the Swiss Miss Diet & I actually like it better then the one with no sugar added and its only 25 calories, 1 gram of fiber & 0 points! They also have the fat free with 50 calories.

I didn't drink my shake one time after my workout because I didn't have much calories left for the day & I will never do that again. I became so fatigued & low energy. I almost made myself sick.

it's good to eat something small before a workout for energy. Also, my personal trainer told me to ALWAYS eat something after you work out. I have a protein shake I keep in my car that I drink right after I leave the gym. It's like 100 calories. You should stick to protein.
