This is my suuuuuuuper easy chicken soup that I sometimes change up ingredients with...but the base is: 4 cups chicken broth or stock 1/2 onion, diced 3 carrots, diced 3-4 stalks of celery, diced 2 cloves of garlic, roughly chopped about 1 cup cooked chicken italian seasoning, any other seasoning you want really cooked…

I agree with other posters that said it really depends on the person. I do NOT think someone who is a size 12 is "fat" (I hate that word, btw). I was ECSTATIC when I got into 12's! I started at a size 18. Great job on your progress so far...keep it up!

I am going to try to log calories, but I am not too worried about them...I am planning on going over anyway. As far as exercise, depending on the weather I am planning to go for a short run when I wake up. I am looking forward to eating EVERYTHING! My family does italian food for Christmas...this year it'll be…

Wine spritzers (with diet sprite or flavored sparkling water, not club soda), or diet ginger ale or orange soda with cake vodka...mmmm.

Start a lifting program and stick with it! Need to tone up...I don't look how I want to even though I'm at my goal weight...booo. :grumble:

I drink coffee every single day and it has not hindered my weight loss. I usually do 1 cup of regular and 1 cup of decaf and I put a splenda packet and 1 tbsp of half and half in each cup. Total is about 45 calories. Love my coffee!

You ladies ROCK! Thank you so much for all you do! :flowerforyou: So glad the flash mob was a success! YAY! Have a great Holiday everyone!

I do the Turkey Trot in Lansing on Thanksgiving, and I did the Lansing half marathon this year for the first time (it was in September). I also did the Howell "Headless Horseman" 5k that was right before Halloween, the 5/3 Riverbank Run 10K that was in April (or May?), and the Race for the Cure in April. I love running! :)

I take my key off the ring (whether it's my house key or car key) and tie it with my shoelaces. Don't even notice it!

LOL really?!

^ This.

LOL I noticed that too...

I use splenda everyday in my coffee (about 2-3 packets in 2-3 cups of coffee) and haven't had any ill effects. I'm sure it's better for your body to use real sugar, but I am content using my splenda and saving the cals/carbs for other foods. ;)

I'm 5'5'' and a size 6 (at 139 pounds) Before I started losing weight I was 212 and a TIGHT size 18.

Could you maybe open up your diary so that we can see it and provide some ideas to add some calories? It is silly to eat more if you are legitimately not hungry. I find that adding in fuller fat foods (cheese, milk, yogurt, nuts etc) helps add more calories without the extra volume...make sense?

Honestly...I am not going to track on Thanksgiving. I plan to be mindful and not make it an all day eating frenzy, but I want to enjoy the day and not fret about it. It's ONE day...I know it won't kill me if I'm over cals. Also I am doing a Turkey Trot (5K) so the activity will help balance everything out. :)

I always eat atleast some...generally I eat about half of them back. I believe in eating as much as possible while losing so that I will be able to maintain on a higher amount of calories. ;) I also don't feel deprived which definitely helps with motivation! I am able to LOSE weight eating over 2000 cals a day with the…

I agree with the others about adding cals in slowly (100 extra per day for a week, etc) until you stabilize. My TDEE is right around 2200-2300, and yes it sounds like a lot of calories at first but you will find ways to fit them in! I have started to eat more regular foods as opposed to fat free/low fat and that helps add…

Ok that makes sense. Thank you!

So...why do you add the calories you burn while working out along WITH what your body bugg calculates? Aren't you double entering the calories you burn then...? Maybe I am confused...

GREAT post!

Panera - either pick two with 1/2 turkey sandwich and chicken noodle soup OR chopped chicken avocado salad with no gorgonzola cheese and dressing on the side (use sparingly). Subway - LOVE the buffalo chicken or tuscan chicken on flatbread, toasted with LOTS of veggies...no dressing. Yum!

This sounds AMAZING! And so easy. Thank you!

I have lost over 70 pounds by paying more attention to calories than carbs. Once I switched from Weight Watchers to MFP I made a conscious effort to stay within my macros (I am set to 50% carb/25% fat/25% protein). I have been losing just fine this way! Sometimes I do go over a little in carbs but it doesn't seem to…

I make the fluff too but I use SF/FF cheesecake pudding instead of vanilla (and I do add skim milk, HALF the amount called for to make pudding, so it's thicker) and add a little pumpkin pie spice to it for some more flavor. Very good! :)

I am absolutely obsessed with anything pumpkin (all throughout the year, too!). This recipe is great: http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes/impossibly-easy-pumpkin-pie/c0eab3d9-06a3-4829-9125-7581f1d96315 ^I use light butter/margarine and 1% evaporated milk and I make it in 12 muffin tins (with foil liners) and they come out…
