If I don't eat, I get a headache. I got some blood work done so that I might see if I have any food allergies. Also, I get hungry at night--the worse time of day to be eating!!

Hello fellow 60-year olds!!! My name is Debbie and I'm returning to get myself to rid about 10 pounds. I've had tremendous success on this site. I'm an exercise freak, but I also love that chocolate! So I'm losing last year's weight... I had a lot happen: lost my mom & dad, so...... I ate my way through the year, gaining…

I'm addict, period. I can get addicted to sugar, exercise, work, you name it. I shoot for 1200 calories, but my main goal is to eat well & exercise. I've enjoyed this site. I'm trying to maintain my present fitness level & weight. :)

Hi! Nice to see another person on this site! I have no problem working out, as I love it and have done it my entire life. I have to watch what I eat though. Sounds like you're on the right path! Keep up the good work! Debbie:smile:

 Hi! I can relate! My "drug of choice" is chocolate. I work at it every day. It's gotten easier, so there is hope! Don't give up! You're on the right track. Debbie

Then you would like me as a MFP friend. Debbie

Hi! Nice to read your post! I would suggest that you start out slow. If you're not use to exercise, it will take you some time to get use to it. You WILL get to a point where you will feel better! Then you cannot live without it! DON'T give up! I also would suggest that if you haven't worked out for a while, to get a…

Congrats on being sober & on your weight loss. I'm a recovering addict, and I love my program!!! Good luck!! Debbie

Hi and welcome back!!! Can I be your friend? I work a lot of behavior modification. I'm addicted to working out, but I'm also a food addict. That means that if I get started eating (sugar especially), I could eat the state of AZ. I've overdone the work out thing too. The key for me is moderation. Good luck! Debbie

Very well said; and I can relate! As a sugar addict, I always have cravings that I have to deal with. What I have to do is make the choice (no excuses) to walk through the compulsion to eat. Once I get through it, I feel a little stronger. I decided that I workout to stay "fit," not "skinny," and I eat to nourish my body,…

Things could always be worse. I've been single for 13 years. I live with a blue & gold macaw...

I am so impressed with your progress!! I have been in the fitness industry since 1980, and have witnessed some transformations, but your story is nothing less than tremendous!! To overcome such fear, addictions, and change is to be very proud of! Thank you for posting your story, and know that I am cheering for you during…

I don't eat Gluten, so no milk for me. I love Hemp milk and Almond Milk.

My name is neither creative, nor unusual. My name is Debbie, and when I created my screen name, I owned a gym/fitness studio, and was 45 at the time. I'm still a compulsive fitness freak, but now I'm 58. Debbiefit45.

2X a month. Otherwise I get too obsessed with the scale.

I'm a morning person and prefer to workout in the morning, but I usually workout after work; except for weekends! :)

I'm still learning how to use this site though.

Hi fellow fitness freaks! I'm 58 and would like more friends over 50 as well. I'm a high school teacher and have loved to work out my entire life. I have had to deal with food addictions, especially sugar, for many years. I feel like I'm finally breaking free of it. I like this website and would like to meet others with…

I'm looking for supportive friends. Anyone?

Hi all! I'm 5'9 and I weigh 150 lbs. My goal weight is 145. I've always worked out, so that's not an issue; although I'm a little obsessive. I like this website. It's very encouraging! Debbie, age 58.
