You need to eat lots more! Also, try spacing out meals - your body might go into starvation mode if you don't feed it enough (or regularly).

A piece of cake is not that bad - you're probably talking 400 calories (if it's a reasonably small portion). As long as you combat the "snack" with some exercise, you will be fine!
