  • I make excuses and I say "I'll start eating healthy tomorrow" a lot! I wasn't big as a kid but I thought I was. I thought it didn't really matter what I ate because I was big anyway. I loved chips and as I developed I didn't really realize how big I was. I finished school at 200 pounds or so. Boobs and hips sort of…
  • I can very much see the difference between 95 to 90kg, and then again from 90-85... Before that I hadn't noticed any difference, and after that less differece.
  • You don't need to cut carbs and fat to lose weight. In fact you need both carbs and fat to function which is what you're finding. If you're going to cut starchy carbs for a while on doctors orders, (good idea for prediabetic) then you absolutely need to eat vegetables and fats... Once you have lost weight you can introduce…
  • It will tighten over the course of years not days and weeks and probably won't ever go back to what you want. I will stick up some before and afters when I get on my computer but age, size, stretch marks and speed of loss are all factors

  • Nothing is innately fattening. Count the cals and enjoy
  • Those numbers sound about right to me, but I wouldn't worry unless you're way under 2100... give yourself permission to make it up if you want though. Sometimes the easiest way to make up those couple of hundred is a chocolate bar. ;-)
  • Every few hours is normal. Please don't hold it too long. Can cause severe infections.
  • One night may throw you out for a couple of days. In a months time you're not going to be affected by missing a few hours sleep that many weeks ago. I slept for around 3 hours last night, was woken at 3am and couldn't get back to sleep from stress... Felt terrible today, but will aim for a solid sleep tonight and hopefully…
  • Eat at maintenance for a little while then drop down to weight loss calories again.
  • I hate eating any food that everyone has touched which helps generally. Most people dont wash their hands properly. I work in childcare, so any food stuff contains far too much poop for me. Even if I weren't in this environment though, consider the amount of people that dont wash their hands after the loo. No plated…
  • You really don't need as much water as all that. As long as you're not thirsty and your pee is alright. I drink a 1.5l bottle through out the day most days and only have more if I'm particularly thirsty. If you're eating fresh fruit and veg, you're probably getting loads of water.
  • I eat two slices of bread and butter a day. I would never ever substitute that for anything else, because no substitute tastes like butter. I just work around it elsewhere. Really, a slice of bread with butter isn't overly calorific... Maybe limit your butter, rather than substituting it.
  • Just start by cutting down... There's nothing to stop you having 2 tsp of sugar, but at 30 calories for 2 tsp, 20 cups a day starts to add up. If you're willing to allocate those calories, fine. If you're not, cut down to 15 cups to start. Cut down to 1 tsp of sugar. Do it slowly, if you find it hard.
  • Hope that works.. :) Loved the change in my face... more than my body. As soon as I go up a couple of kilograms I see it in my face, and it motivates me to go back down.
  • It's completely individual. Mine disappears as soon as I duck under 90 kg as a 5'5 female. Some people will always have one
