I'm planning to lose 8 more kgs but I don't know if I'm doing good or? The fact that I've lost only 1kg makes me feel depressed.. And I'm eating 1200 calories per day (most of the time only 1100 because of my busy schedule and I don't really feel like eating, I swear I'm not starving)

    54kg = 119lbs, 156cm = 5'11. Assuming those are correct, you're already WAY underweight. Losing should be the last thing on your mind right now.

    How are you measuring and logging your food? When I first started out I was woeful at .ogging accurately and would often be eating more than I thought I was.
    Make sure you weigh all solids on a digital scale as eyeballing and measuring cups won't be accurate. This includes packages food which can weigh up to 20% more than indicated on the package. Use measuring cups and spoons for liquids (make sure you include all sauces, oils, spreads etc).
    When entering data check against places like the USDA database or the package nutrition label to ensure accuracy. There are some shocking entries out there.

    A BMI of 22.2 is not way underweight. Losing 8 more kgs would put her at 18.9 which is be bottom of healthy..

    Wait, underweight? Last time I checked my BMI I'm still average and about to hit overweight

    No, that OP couldn't convert right from metric. Not underweight at all.

    You don't have much weight to lose, so that rate of loss is actually really good. You shouldn't be aiming for anymore than 1/2 a kg per week, and preferably only a 1/4. Yes, I know that sounds dismally small, but you're already in your healthy weight range, and your body is going to fight you all the way on those last kgs. It will actually fight less if you take it more slowly, and chances are you will get to goal sooner, or around the same time, as you would trying to lose faster. And you won't drive yourself nuts doing it.

    Other than that, reiterating what Lilymoo said, weigh your food, ensure you're using accurate database entries. Be meticulous.

    156 cm is 5'1 not 5'11. Big difference

    You are small, so your weight loss will be slow. 1 kg in 23 days is perfect. Even 1 kg a month is a good loss for someone your size.

    Yep!

    I would reset your rate of lose to 0.25kg per week, which will actually give you more to eat. Even though you are losing at that rate now, there could be a couple of reasons for that:

    1) inaccurate logging, in which case you will need to tighten up on that if you change your weight loss setting (if you make your diary public, we can have a look and see if that might be the case);

    2) your body is recognising that you are underfeeding it for the amount of fat stores you have, and is compensating by slowing down other things, such as incidental movement (all that stuff that you do outside of conscious exercise, and you likely won't even notice it's happening). If that is the case, your body will respond to more food by increasing that movement again. Example: you have a 500 calorie deficit, your body responds by reducing your movement and you burn, let's say 250 cals a day less. So your deficit is actually only 250 cals. But, if you only have a 250 cal deficit to start with, your body doesn't reduce that movement, and you get to eat more and lose at the same rate anyway. Make sense?

    Either way, you're doing fine and losing at an appropriate rate for your size. I'm just all about eating the maximum I can whilst still losing ;)
