If you can, try to get the book, "Chi Running" by Danny Dryer. You can read about Chi Running at their site http://www.chirunning.com. It helped me tremendously!

WELL, YES YOU ARE LOOKING GOOD! Congrats! Keep up the good work!

Can you use a protein shake? Muscle Milk (chocolate) is good as well as Syntha 6 caramel latte! GNC sells both.

AWESOME! WAY TO GO!

I concur with this, too! ;)

Exercise, exercise, exercise! Second would the realization that 2500 mg of sodium is too much for a day. I lowered mine to 1500 mg.

I have tried not eating my caloroes and eating them. I lose inches more than weight when I eat them back...I love the results I am getting. BUT, what works for me may not work for you. You will need to use trail & error to see what your body responds to. See the link in my signature, maybe it will help. Good Luck!

I run 2-4 times per week depending on how my knees are feeling and I do a boot camp class on Mondays, Wednesdays & Saturdays. I also try to run at least one 5K race per month. This Saturday is my 3rd 5K since March 26th! Time to beat is 31:22!!!

Caramel Latte is my favorite! I mix it with unsweetened almond milk also. I loved the chocolate until I tried the caramel latte!

I have seen a loss in inches when the scales have not moved, so don't fret over the scale. Muscle does not weigh more than fat, so don't buy into that...a pound of muscle weighs the same as a pound of fat...the difference is that a pound of muscle takes up less room than a pound of fat, thus the loss in inches. Keep…

I have donated most of mine to a battered womens shelter. The others I have given to co-workers.

I feel your pain! I went to a family reunion today that I knew would be loaded with BAD, BAD, BAD food choices. It was a pot luck, so we were supposed to bring enough food to feed our own family. I took grilled pork chops, grilled squash, red, orange & yellow bell peppers & grilled asparagus. Everyone RAVED about how good…

I think you have to figure out what YOUR body responds to and do what's best for YOU. Personally, I have lost weight both ways. But , I have seen a greater loss in inches since I have started using protein shakes after my workout to nourish my muscles, which enables them to burn the fat that is laying on top of them.…

That is only true when you are doing VERY HEAVY weight training and mixing them with whole milk. If you mix them with water , skim milk or almond milk, you will be fine. Also, protein fuels your muscles in order for them to function properly...your muscles will burn the fat off that is on top of them, thus making you lose…

I would order maple glaze chicken without the glaze. You can request that the chicken be grilled with no added oils, butter, sauces, etc. Also, if you order veggies, request them steamed with NO butter and add pepper for flavor. Beware of the salad option because the croutons and dressing can be horrible in cals/fat/sugar.…

The difference between FRUIT sugar (fructose) and refined sugar (sucrose) is as follows. Fruit sugar is something known as FRUCTOSE http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fructose "Fructose is broken down by the body slowly and is converted into SUCROSE and GLYCOGEN. Fructose is often recommended for, and consumed by, people with…

I lowered mine from 2500mg (as suggested by MFP) to 1500mg. This requires me to eat more clean foods than processed.

Soak in a tub of HOT water with Epsom salt. It helped my leg soreness when I first started running.
