I'm not on a program, per se. I do Back and Chest on Sundays, Legs on Wednesdays, Arms on Friday, and abs/cardio tuesday and saturday. I have New rules of lifting for women, and I've heard Starting Strength is supposed to be good, but all my lifts are going up so it seems to be working for me right now.

Hm, well I am a beginner, but I'm also a woman (which explains the lower calorie intake), so I could see how it's unrealistic. I really don't know where I got that number to begin with, honestly. Is 1 lb in a month more realistic?

Thanks everybody! I think I"m going to try to eat fewer carbs and sugar, which I think translates to fewer fruits and more meat and veggies. I'm also gonna up my workouts and try to lift heavier. Let's see where that takes me!

I'm running a 5k on the 20th- trying to get under 27 minutes!

I'm 5'2" and currently weigh 121.

3 months?!? You look fantastic!! That's dedication right there.

XD Thanks everybody!! I'm basically just running a lot more; probably around 3x a week I run at least 5k, and I've started some lifting routines (yay squats!) and lots of planks! And healthy eating! Luckily I've always loved fruits and veggies.

Thanks samib!

One day a week, I'll not go crazy caring about calories, so instead of 1450, I'll usually get up to around 2000 and eat some fries or something I would never otherwise allow myself to have, but I don't go crazy enough to ruin the work I'm doing.

I'm a musical theatre actress- trying to get at least to Off-Broadway!!

Halfway to my goal point, I'm buying all new workout clothes and possibly heavier hand weights (I only have 5 pounders and they're really not doing much for me anymore). Whole goal? My reward is gonna be showing everyone in my family the results of my hard work in a bikini at my college graduation party!! Oh and maybe my…

I'm in the healthy range; I'm 5'2" and 125 pounds, but I'm trying to get down to a fit and solid 117. Good luck on your weight loss/toning journey! =]

Felt it in Central New Jersey!! Crazy, huh?

I only weight myself Saturday mornings. If I were to weigh myself everyday, I wouldn't be able to deal with the fluctuations, and I'd probably give up.

Thanks everybody! I think I'm going to look into protein shakes/powders....suggestions for which ones? And actually, I had forgotten until now, but I've had two blood tests in the past year and a half, both of which came out with high triglycerides and high cholesterol (which I think is genetic; I really don't eat fatty…

Oh good! I'm glad I was wrong about that whole "impossible" thing; maybe I've just been doing strength training wrong. I've been using 10 pound weights- maybe I'll switch to 5. Thank you! And hey, a little wine never hurt anybody =]

I'm 20, 5'2", SW: 130, GW: 115! Add me so we can cheer each other on! =]

I basically throw whatever fruits and veggies I have in a bowl along with fat free feta and a tbsp of Balsamic Vinegar. Today, that made it: -Romaine Lettuce -1/4 of a tomato -1/2 an avacado -Handful of greenbeans -1/2 granny smith apple -Handful of strawberries -3 oz of Salmon -1 oz feta -1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar…

Honestly I'm not really exercising either, but I'm strictly adhering to the 1200 calorie intake, and I've lost a lot already for my size. It's amazing realizing how many calories I used to consume when not counting. I do the 30 day shred sometimes too just to tone up. So although exercising is generally good for your body,…

I'd say 3-4 days a week, I would go to Starbucks/ a bakery after school and get a Grande mocha chip frapp with whipped cream AND a giant chocolate muffin. I don't even want to know how many calories that added up to!

You look absolutely amazing. Congratulations!!
