It is in the 60's here and we consider it pretty cold. Gotta love Texas! I think my lungs would burn to run in 29 degree weather. I am so proud of you for challenging yourself and accomplishing it! You are on fire. You are one of my biggest ispirations!

SW 296/ GW 190/ CW 263.2= lost 2.4 lbs this week

I completed W2D2 today. I am surprising myself with how well my body is handling running. It is getting easier, though it is not easy by any means. The first three 90 sec runs were okay. On the fourth 90 sec run, I hit the big hill in the track which kicked my booty. I live in the TX hillcountry, so nothing is level here.…

It is been a stressful week. It is the first time that I am not excited about weighing in. TOM is visiting (I think- I have Mirena, so I don't actually really know, I just have a feeling) I am crabby (which isn't like me). I have eaten well and stayed under my calories, and I have exercised, though not as much as I usually…

I am heading out to do W2D2 in the cold and VERY windy weather. I am not too excited, but I am two days late on doing this. Wish me luck!
-
Thanks egam! Glad to see you again! We have missed you!

It has been a LONG day and I am exhausted. I have mirena so never know when TOM is here, but I am retaining water and ultra grumpy, so I am guessing now. I also want to eat everything in sight. I went to the fire museum and the park with 20 three year olds and was home with my kids for the rest of the day. My husband…

Thanks gimedatnow! I prefer to exercise in the evening. I read somewhere that your body is better equiped to work out in the evening. All your organs are functioning in full force and your body is just more awake. It also works with my schedule better. I have a field trip with my daughter tomorrow, so I will have to make…

I did W2D1 yesterday. It was not near as bad as I thought it would be. I just really need to focus on my breathing. I felt okay while doing it, but after my poor face was DARK red for about 30 miuntes. Not sure why that happens. Anyone? Well, tonight I am gonna take it easy and just ride the bike and will to W2D2 tomorrow!…

I had a good day today. I stayed under my calories and drank tons of water. I am doing the c25k program and started week 2 today and also rode the stationary bike for 30 miuntes. My body is pretty sore now though. Looking forward to weigh-in tomorrow!

I did W2D1 today. I was a little nervous, but it wasn't near as bad as I thought it would be. During the workout I felt great but afterwards I was beet red and a little light headed. Anyone know why that happens? I am glad to know I will be able to handle week 2 pretty well! Happy Halloween everyone!

Gimedatnow- welcome! It sounds like you are on the right track. I couldn't imagine having a goal of running 20 miles in one week. Hopefully in a few months that can be one of the goals I list. JJ- you are doing so great! It is amazing the amount of inches you have lost from this new training program! Keep it up and keep…

I completed W1D3! It seems to be getting a tiny bit easier. I am a little bit nervous about week 2 but I am also excited. I will do W2D1 on Sunday. I downloaded a podcast to my ipod and it made it a lot easier to follow. I didn't have to constantly look at my watch. I am feeling pretty good now!
-
Which one do you prefer? Congrats on finishing day 1!

I am heading out to do W1D3. I have been trying for the last two days to get it done, but my schedule has been pretty hectic. Great job to all of you for getting out there and sticking to it. I will check in later to let you know how it went.

Welcome to all of you new team members! We are a very supportive group and are happy to have new members to share our progress with. My goals for this week: 1. To track all my calories the night before, for the next day. It helps me stay on track when I do this. 2. No diet sodas. Water only! 3. To find some yummy, healthy…

WOW JJ- that was quite a morning. With my schedule today, I did not get to do day 3. I will get it in tomorrow for sure. Life is pretty crazy and busy right now. I did ride the bike for 45 minutes tonight, so that was good. Tomorrow is my weigh-in and I am pretty excited. It is going to be another good number. When is your…

Checking in for yesterday: somehow drank 16 glasses of water (I must have been floating), under my calorie goal and exercised for 60 minutes total. I have a really hard time exercising for more than 30 minutes at a time b/c of my schedule and kids, but at least I got it in. I didn't get to do any resistance training…

Happy Tuesday everyone! Just got back from my lunchtime walk. I am feeling really good. My clothes are all too big on me now! I will do W1D3 on thursday evening. I am actually looking forward to it (just a little bit!) Egam- Thank you so much! You guys are a big inspiration and support to me too. In your other post, you…

Thanks JJ for all the advice and support. I did some research on breathing techniques, and it really helped today. My body was a little more stiff, but I made it through D2! I am going to look into subscribing to runners world. That just sounds crazy for me to say! Running, I never thought!

AmandaR- Great job! It is good to hear that W2 wasn't as bad as you thought. I wish I had been more active during my pregnancies. That is why I am in the situation I am with my weight. Congrats!!!

I just finished W1D2. I really focused on my breathing, and that felt better, but it was harder on my body today. For D!, I did it on level ground. For D2, the track by my work is very hilly, so that was an adjustment. All in all, D2 was a little easier than D1. So that is positive. I am going to do D3 on thursday.…

Yeehaw!!! Christmas cahllenge starting weight 275, current weight 268.4! Lost 6.8 lbs this week!!! I am loving this challenge!

I would love to join you! I actually started the C25K today. I haven't run or even jogged for over 7 years, so it was pretty tough. But, I did finish it! My body actually felt ok. It was my breathing that was tough. I would love some support to help get me through this!

I started the C25K program today. It was very hard for me being that I haven't run in probably 7 years or so, but I did it! I might have to modify it slightly, but we will see. I also rode the stationary bike for 30 minutes today. I will be under my calories for the day and will get all my water in. I am not going to bring…

So, I just did my first day of the C25K program. I did it outside today since my hubby wasn't at work yet. I felt like I was going to die, but I did it. I just don't see how I can do the first week only three times before moving on to week two. Can I do week one more than one week? Can I modify it at all? I am definitely…
