Chantix. It SAVED me on my "kicking butt" journey! Good luck!

I would stick with the good and faithful! Who cares if it's a dinosaur. They just don't make things like they used to. :grumble:

I would like to get in on this!!! I actually started on May 25th but I am still on track. I am doing the Cardio, then the Core and then the Resistance each once per week but I am also adding a step aerobics workout that I love. So I am only excersing 3 days per week but it is an intense workout session. Add me as a friend…

Love it!

Wow! Great job! Thanks for the help! I did some diet research and this one seemed the easiest and most logical, that's why I went with it. I hope for results like yours!

They do throw your balance off, because the bottom is curved, rather than flat like a normal shoe so it does take some time to get used to. And I would never exercise in them. I can totally see injury occuring then! I enjoy wearing mine around the house when I am cleaning. I don't really wear them anywhere else. Oh, but I…

I bought mine last year. I have the Sketcher shape ups. They are postively the most comfy shoes I have ever had. However, I have yet to see or even feel a difference. They are super comfy for casual wear, but not for exercise like aerobics or jogging or stepping. Walking only. But no, the have not enhanced me in way shape…

I checked at the grocery and I see lots of greek yogurt. Some say 2% some say 0% but I have been unable to find any yogurt, greek or not greek, that has NO sugar. The lowest I have found was 12g of sugar per serving. All the yogurt is like, fat free, or light. Nothing I could find said, no sugar, or no added sugar. Nothing…

I have a friend whose husband is diabetic and he eats Greek yogurt mixed with sugar free jam. Maybe I will try that. I am a little sad about giving up my Yoplait Fiber One Key Lime Pie yogurt. That's my fave. Thanks for all the thoughts!

Thanks all! I think I will try some Greek yogurt. I am just afraid cuz I have heard it's pretty nasty but the benefits are suppose to be so good so I wanted to see what else there is probiotics. I suppose I could just take it in supplement form. Thanks guys!

You can't see the difference in yourself? I can totally see it! Not only in the belly area, but all over your FACE! Look at that smile! Good job and keep up the hard work!!! Be proud of yourself!

Thanks wolfchild! You do a very nice job of explaining! :)

Still no scale here and I'm not tempted but ONLY because I fear it will not be good to me. As usual. If I thought it would be good, I'd probably miss it like crazy. I am losing steam so fast. I NEED some motivation. MUST find motivation! Ugh. I feel like I'm sinking. But at least I have found my way to this site so I'm not…

I never count my job. To me exercise is diligently setting aside time and doing some diliberate exercise. I don't count cleaning either but I see many people do. I guess I just take those kinds of calories burned as bonus but perhaps that is my plateau problem. I just may not be eating enough. Oh, darn it. Now I am second…

I am doing some diet research and I am leaning towards trying "The 17 Day Diet". Don't let the name deceive you. It sounds like a gimmicky thing but it doesn't seem like it to me after reading about it. It sounds like it consists of 4 cycles, each 17 days long. I think you keep doing the first 3 until you meet your goal…

I have been doing some diet research and so far, I am leaning towards this one. I really don't care if someone considers something a "fad". Fad basically means popular and I don't find anything wrong with that. I don't care if it is unpopular either. If it produces results, and if I can stick with it. Those are the things…

That is amazing! Good for you! I have been doing some diet research and so far, I am leaning towards this one. I have a Kindle so I can get it 22 seconds flat but I just want to make sure I buy the one that's going to work! This one looks like keeper!

Never heard of it and I haven't seen any ads. Can you include a link? So curious.

AMAZING!!!! FABULOUS!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!

It seems like I say this every single day to someone. Get a heart rate monitor! You will not regret it! No more guessing games!

Welcome to the family, add me if you'd like! :flowerforyou:

I am looking forward to this challenge! I am a bit nervous but that is part of breaking any addiction! I will NOT step on that nasty  scale again until Easter! I will not even LOOK at it! I will not let that number dictate my mood and attitude everyday. :noway: Starting weight 186.6. :ohwell:
-
Congrats! 4 pounds is GREAT! I too quit smoking. (5/1/2009) and packed on the pounds since. Sucks cuz I was under 100 pounds like for my whole life until then! Oh well! At least I can now say I am a NON SMOKER! Climbing the weight loss mountain now! We can climb it together if ya wanna add me. Good luck!
-
I should start logging my texting time as exercise. I will wear my heart rate monitor to make sure I get an accurate count. Maybe make my own youtube vids. I will call it TEXTERMINATOR!

I AGREE. I GUESS I GET MORE ANNOYED BY THINGS THAT MATTER. LIKE BEING RUDE AND HATEFUL TO SOMEONE. BUT CAPS? UM, NOT SO MUCH. CAPS ON PEEPS! CAPS ON!

So we are suppose to post our weigh in here tomorrow and then again on Easter? Is that what we are doing? Sorry! NOOB here! :)
