I still have about 30lbs until my goal weight, but I think I understand your situation. I have been significantly more hungry (and often going over my calories) the last couple of months than I have been the entire year that I have been losing weight. For me, I think its a mental thing. I am trying to get it under control…

Amazing!!! Great job!!!

I am making the change to weigh in Monday as well. I binge too much on the weekends and it just really throws me off :(

You still have a a decent amount of weight until your goal weight so you are likely to start seeing it come off your stomach and mid section during these last 40-50lbs. I started at 222 and am currently at 171. It wasn't until the last 10-15lbs that I saw any change in my stomach. The change now is still small that only I…

During? But on a serious note.. it doesn't matter.

I'm not sure where she got the notion from. Up until last week she was all about wanting to lift more and increase how much weight she was using. So I doubt she was feeling challenged. But good advice regardless! :)

Thats why I put the "toned" in quotation marks. Her words, not mine, haha :)

Strength train. Adding heavier weights (it sounds like you are mostly doing cardio - so just adding weight in general) will help for body recomposition. Search posts in the success stories about how weight lifting changed their bodies - you can see some very serious changes with very little weight loss (mostly from…

I JUST signed up for another one in September! So I am going to keep that in mind everyday!

Haha, always eat the cake first.

I did an 8k mud race two weekends ago! It gave me a mega boost but now I am just falling back out of it!

I have lost almost 50lbs without weighing my food. But I do use measuring cups when it is a food I don't eat on a daily basis.

I actually work in a grocery store. Worse than that, I work in the Hot Deli or Meals to Go section... meaning I cook/deepfry delicious food all day long. Since I started losing weight last summer, I have almost completely stopped buying anything from my department (with the exception of the odd sandwich). I think I just…

In the first photo I was 222+ lbs, the second one was taken this past weekend at 173lbs. Still more to go.

I am doing an 8k obstacle mud race on May 31st called the Punisher Adventure! I have been actively training for it lately!

Exactly what everyone else has said. Tight sports bra. Keeps them sucked right in.

Congrats so far on your loss! I am 5'6 and I started at 222 and am now at 175. I would still like to lose another 35lbs. Feel free to add me as a friend! We can share some tips and encouragement! Before: Current:

It varied greatly for me. People who knew I was trying to lose weight were commenting after 20lbs (mostly because they were looking for it all the time). I've JUST started getting comments from people at work (about 45lbs down), but I also don't know them as well, so it might be awkward for people to bring it up.

This. x100
-
Agreed x100. If you are comfortable with how much you are working out then don't stop! If you feel like you need an extra rest day once and awhile, then take one. Just keep doing what youre doing and the work will show itself.

your face looks so amazing!
-
Agree with the above posters. My face is noticeably thinner after 43lbs but I've seen more drastic changes than mine.
-
I don't. Can't stand the smell or taste. Blech!
-
hahaha very true!

^^ This.

WOW! Incredible story. Truly inspiring. Keep it up and never stop!
