I eat cereal and bread and grains pretty much everyday and lose 1-2lbs a week steadily. Different strokes for different folks. Find what works best for you. I personally wouldn't listen to that trainer.

I know a personal trainer who told me I should eat NO MORE than 1200 calories a day, even if I work out that day.... he also told my 300+ lb friend to eat 1200 and no more. (I am 184lbs). I have been eating 1500-2000 daily and lose 1-2lbs a week. Clearly some of them don't know what they are talking about. Stay with what…

I don't have an answer for you, but am interested in hearing what others say. I have been wanting to buy one myself...

I usually eat back most of mine. But I try not to worry about it too much. Most of the time I'd guess I eat back 70% of them. Some days more, some days less. I find it helps keep me motivated, and I love food, so I can eat a bit more without feeling guilty.

bump for later

I used to have the same issue. I found that eating my dinner later helps a lot. I used to eat dinner at 6, and then would snack by 9 or 10. But I often work until 8, so I eat dinner then and then I am pretty good until the morning.

I have a Polar FT4 which I would recommend. It comes with a chest strap and a watch and the chest strap is actually really comfortable, I cant even feel it. But HRM's are only good for when you are working out. If you are looking to wear something all day, you are better off with a pedometer of sorts. I hear the Fitbit is…

wow! checked out your link. You look incredible. Great job :)

I had the same issue. Luckily my work schedule makes me work until 8 several times a week. So I don't end up eating dinner until 830 often times. I know some people don't like eating that late, but I find it keeps me from snacking. On days when I eat at 5 or 6, I tend to snack by 8.

I JUST got the Polar FT4. Its awesome. It comes with a chest strap that you can barely feel. And its pretty accurate in calculating your calories burned. The one I got is pink, so its pretty too. Haha.

I met Al Barr and Ken of the Dropkick Murphys. I ran into the guys from the band Europe (the final countdown), of course had no idea who they were until after, but had a nice chat.

My boobs tend to grow and shrink based on my weight. At my lowest (150) I was a D cup. At my heaviest I was a full DDD... right now I am between a DD and DDD.

^ for the win.

Do you guys all wear it in place of an HRM when you workout too? Also is the flex or the one the best option? Am looking into them.

I get that! Good for you for stay away from it! Have you ever tried alternatives like... chocolate milk (or soy chocolate milk, yum).

Good job! I get the trigger thing (apparently others do not know how to read). Certain things set me off. I go in with good intentions of just having so much, and end up eating over my calories in it.

8 for the wonderful smile!

What kind of gym do you go too? :o

I still eat it occasionally. I have to be careful though because its easy to fall into trap of wanting more and more and more. But if I have the room for it, and really want it, I won't force myself to be unhappy with something else. But I do try to order the options that will fit in my calories. So if I have 500 calories,…

I actually find that I am often cold after I workout. Not sure why, tend to curl up in a blanket for a while.

About 16 weeks here. Averaging about 1.2 a week. But I have been all over the place. Often losing only .2s or .4s, and then will get hit with a 2lb or even a 4lb once.
