My gosh, you are absolutely stunning. Way to go, what an inspiration!

5'2, 125 goal.

Am I the only one who saw the humor in this? I think it was a joke. If not, poster, then that's how hilarious you are.

I can't, but that's because I have PCOS. Dairy, pasta and bread just do not work with my body anymore. Edit: I still do.. but I've also been on a plateau for 6 months.

I might as well just copy, paste, change names and send that to my mother (credit where credit is due, of course). Thanks for sharing.

Studying, working, and hopefully working out! Definitely hitting up the farmer's market for my weekly summer trip! :)

Mine eats donuts, cookies, candy, all the carbs in the world and glares at me if I touch something over 200 calories. He's 5'10, 140 lbs and couldn't gain weight if he tried. I am 5'2, 180 lbs and seemingly gain weight if I LOOK at a carb the wrong way.

You guys are awesome! @tom, I'm on iOS but i'll try that! Today I made: 1/2 c unsweetened almond milk 1/4 c fage 1 tsp lime juice 1/2 c spinach 1/3 c carrot 1/2 gala apple 1/3 c frozen mango chunks 1/2 c frozen strawberry/blackberry/blueberry blend 1 scoop vanilla whey protein w/ stevia I didn't use ice, it turned out…

That sounds very good, rebby. Question, do you use only frozen? I think my issue might be that I'm using ice along with frozen fruit?

If you have a good dynamic and trust in your partner, go for it. I was cheated on, left, kicked out and all of my money stolen right after a paycheck when I was young(er) and dumb. It's a scary thing, but it sounds like you and your husband will do just fine.
-
Thanks! I'll give that a go :) How many calories do you shoot for? I just upped mine, but I likely won't eat them all. I'm perfectly fine being infertile. Luckily that didn't affect any of my life goals :)

5'2, here. No exercise: 1200-1450. With exercise: 1300-1500. I have tried both lower and higher, none of them seem to work. I also have PCOS, auto-immune liver disease, lyme disease and a few other bad things.

It is more expensive, considering I used to spend $80 every month in groceries that was mainly junk food. Think: 12 pack ramen. Now I go to the store every week to buy veggies, meats, etc; it's about $30 every time I go. However, the money is spread out, so it's not bad for my personal budget, though everyone budgets…

It's about 15 lbs for me. It's 4 lbs for my 5'0, 110 lb mother. :grumble:

I LOVE mine. I got it for fairly cheap on Amazon, too. The Polar FT4 is half the price and actually does the same thing. Good luck!

Usually a cheat day or two (which isn't hard on 1200 calories every day) takes care of this. That is actually a suggestion in the link you posted.

I have a small frame and am 5'2. I used to be sedentary, but the more I worked out, the more 1200 did not work. Just keep that in mind, OP and make sure that you up your MFP activity level when you start working out more (if you do). I now eat 1450, get a lot of crap for it, but it works for me. Always remember: MFP knows…

Take the stairs instead of the elevator, etc. I don't need to tell you all of that! Use your breaks/lunch (if you can) to do a few stair runs or walks - but not if you sweat, then I don't think your cube neighbors will like that very much. I work out after work and am just active on the weekends. It seems to work the best…

Thank you everyone. I ordered the Ninja Mega Kitchen system today! For the price, it seemed the best. I was going to get the NutriBullet for $100, but for $160, I got a 72 oz pitcher, 64 oz processing bowl, 2 16 oz to-go cups, and a few other things. Awesome suggestions here! Keep the thread going and help someone else!…

That's a good point, I didn't think of it that way. Honestly I don't think I blend enough to spend that much.. though it would be nice to not have to buy another blender for 15 years.. Right now I'm between the Ninja system and the Nutribullet. You get more with the Ninja, but the Nutribullet is tiny and looks very…

I have one, I don't care for it that much.

Neither would I! There are people who love something and have had it for 6 months, and love something because they've had it for years.

Fruit snacks of any kind, seriously. Pie. Candy. FUNYUNS. Not without a fight. My theory is out of sight - out of mind. They keep the chips/pies/candy/cookies up on top of the fridge, but that works for me because I'm only 5'2. They also use cupboards to keep it away from me. For some people though, just knowing it's there…

How much does it make? I seriously love the idea of something this small, but I also wonder if it'll make 16-32 oz. in one sitting?
-
This is what I was looking for. Money isn't necessarily an issue, but quality is. I'm just wondering if I would even use a Vitamix enough to make it worth it - I always talk about juicing, etc.. but whether I would actually use it more than once every day, or once every 2 days makes me wary of spending a ton of money and…

I actually have a blender bottle and hate it. I have to sit there and shake it for what seems an eternity, and I still get chunks! It's likely my cheap-ish protein powder... which is also my favorite and I don't want to switch.
