I'm 5'0" and weigh 122 lbs. My goal is a well muscled 115 but I will probably drop below that while I'm working on my borderline high body fat % issue. I got down to 117 or so about 7 months ago but was only that weight for a few weeks while I was sick so I don't think that counts.

Very inspirational. I'm 5'0" and started at 163 lbs. I'm 122 lbs now but I feel like that last 10 lbs might never come off. Thanks for backing a calorie amount around 1200 or below. My TDEE is only 1700 or so, when I'm active. Nobody should get flak for being short and eating to feed a short person. Did you do any other…

I'm an undergrad but I also reward myself with food. I reward myself with food choices instead of extra food. So my reward might be an ice cream or burrito but it replaces lunch so my calories don't fluctuate with reward.

I think it depends on how you feel. I am personally too tired and sore sometimes to do C25K on back to back nights. Then again I usually go to the gym once a week right now. I think do whatever feels good but take a break every once in a while.

I have issues with ingrown hairs too. I personally wash and exfoliate prior to shaving, shave in the direction of the hair growth, use cold water and if the ingrown hairs are really bad, immediately wash with antibacterial soap. Then every day, exfoliate and wash with antibacterial hand soap for 3-4 days. When do I this, I…

I have to agree with others and say it takes practice. I'm a woman and relatively flexible. I can get into wheel position but I find it harder than some other more complicated poses.

I lost a lot of fat from my face. It makes my glasses look huge. I'm not sure my face shape actually changed really drastically though.

I like it personally but I like the squid more than the ink. I think I vote "no" on adding it to your clam sauce, just because it has its own very powerful flavor.

5'0", 122 lbs, and 15" calves I have an ~28 in. inseam though so I'm stocky with 6.5 sized shoes. I used to have trouble finding boots when I was heavier. Now I just can't wear skinny pants and have to watch the length of dresses, skirts, and capris unless I want to look like a dwarven woman.

I think it's great that you want to be healthier and realize that under-eating is dangerous and not the way to do it. I'm personally 22 and 122lbs right now. As you can see from my ticker, I have lost a substantial amount of weight for my height. I eat around 1500 calories a day usually and am relatively sedentary. I…

I'm 5'0" and currently ~122 lbs but my lowest was 116 and highest was 163. At my current weight I have a bf% of ~30. My ultimate goal is to be about 115 lbs but at a significantly lower body fat, something like 20-22%. Even at 116 lbs, I don't feel particularly thin. Right now at 122 I wear a size 7 in pants. I think to be…

A quick google search of "oca tuber" shows that you might be referring to Oxalis tuberosa which is different than both yams and sweet potatoes, and is in a family apart from either of the previously mentioned tuber. One of many edible tubers.

I think that they are just a non-grain source of carb that isn't a fruit and helps replace the white potato for those that think of them as overly starchy. I don't get it myself. I love and eat sweet potatoes because they taste good, are easy to grow, store well, and are full of vitamin A. Sweet potatoes even have a higher…

I am not doing a keto diet but I try to stick to ~25% of my calories from carbs, 25% from protein and 55% from fat. I have been eating this way mostly (holidays aside) for a year or more. Fats will help you feel full, are broken down relatively slowly and cannot be instantaneously converted to adipose tissue. They are just…

I second that almond milk is pretty good (the unsweetened, unflavored ones). I personally think soy milk is gross. As for breakfast ideas, I usually eat eggs, and bacon (turkey for me because pork upsets my stomach). Sometimes I add fruits to my breakfast or milk but that doesn't help you. I second quiche and fritattas;…

Congrats on being one of a minority of women who either wears a common size (that can be purchased for less than $40) or was taught how a bra should feel. I personally wore the wrong size for most the time I have worn bras because 1) My mother taught me wrong, because her mother taught her wrong. 2) I have a 29 in. ribcage…

I'll throw my two cents in. I think this is highly individual. I'm currently almost 22 and wearing a 30D after an almost 40lb weight loss on a 5'0" frame. I personally lost a lot of mass from the top of the breast and ended up with stretch marks. My weight loss has decreased the size of my breasts, made them look saggier,…

I vote yes. I routinely take cheese, lunch meat and even yogurt onto planes in my pockets and carry-on. Never had a problem.

Thanks! Too bad they can't be hyperlinked for you to click, it's a MFP thing. No problem, that's what I post for. I'm not vegetarian but I try to avoid grains and sugar, which are probably some of the adversaries of vegetarians.

Extra ketchup? Nothing really today but I'd love some gelato sometime later when I'm not feeling so full.

Congrats on realizing that you have a goal. I'm 5'0" and now ~125 with a low of 116 but when I started I weighed 163 lbs. Being short you'll find that a little bit of weight looks like a lot in some places. Being vegetarian isn't an obstacle at all. Scaling back on processed foods and breads can help. I have a few recipes…

I'm 5'0" and 117 lbs I walk between college classes and garden for an hour or so once a week. I run for 30 min. once a month maybe and don't exercise other than that. I eat ~1600 almost every day and I'm maintaining/losing a little. 1400 sounds too low, imo.

30.5" Which makes me sad because I'm 34-30.5-37.5 and I'm almost a banana. Goal? I don't know, less.

I believe that the answer to your question is "nothing on God's green earth". I personally think cottage cheese is disgusting and nothing can make it edible, even a 5 lb bag of sugar. It's one of less than five foods that I detest.

Cottage Cheese, and Grapefruit

For me, it depends on how long I will be away from my kitchen. On days where I can't eat for another six hours or so I tend to eat a breakfast somewhere between 400 and 800 of my ~1600 calories. On days where I can get to food in a few hours, I might eat a 300 calorie breakfast. But honestly, I have trouble making a…

I exercise about 30 minutes every two weeks or so. It's pretty bad.

I'm not sure if you have heard of IF ratings but it's a measure of how inflammatory a food is. It is true that a lot of animal products are inflammatory and that plants are generally anti-inflammatory but there are some notable exceptions. For example, a lot of cold water, oily fish are highly anti-inflammatory. Some…

I think this comment is genuinely sweet. It's kind of like a handmade bowl; the little imperfections make it charming and interesting. I tell my boyfriend that I like his balding head and troll hair. : ) Maybe I'm a terrible person. How about, "You have cold, animalistic eyes." I get this from people because my blue eyes…

Yep, no one is symmetrical. My ribs stick out more on my left than right which makes my stomach fold differently on each side. I have asymmetrical stomach skin folds and ribcage indents. Welcome to being human. I agree with the_dude00, all you can do is train one side more and forget about it.
