Thanks!

I miss Canada! I'm a Canadian living in the US and we go up to Vancouver as much as we can to replenish my "stash" of food, Most of it is mentioned here! Hope to go back to Ontario later this year!

Glad to know it's not only me! Thanks! :)

Thanks! Maybe it's time to invest in a chest HRM. :) I am working my way through the 9 week program (half way there!), then will likely start exploring more. I love this group though! It's a wonderful idea!

This^^ Pretty much me as prescribed by the doctor. I maintain a 10 cal to 1g protein and I try to keep my carbs between 80-100.

Very interesting... thank you both!

No answers so I'm going to take that as a no... guess I am just going crazy then! Lol

Bump, thanks! Awesome idea.

That is correct. I read all my labels and look for a 1 to 10 ratio. I am on a medically supervised low cal, low carb diet.

My doctor has me on 1g of protein per 10 calories to keep me full. Seems to be working!

I am on a medically supervised diet and range between 800-1200 calories per day. I match my protein 10 calories to 1 protein, because it keeps you full and keeps your energy up, as per doctors orders. I normally have 120 grams of protein each day and I keep my carbs between 70-100 as long as it is below 100 for the day.

I don't do a whole day in advance, I just quickly throw my meals together before I eat them so I stay within my numbers. Takes a bit of though to plan ahead, but it works for me and I know I'm not going over.

My high blood pressure is controlled, but I have been on medication since I was 19 and 115 lbs. My mom and dad both have problems as do other members of my immediate family. For me, it's a permanent thing, but I know that, and I've lived with that most of my life. With you, you will just have to wait and see! I'm hoping…

Thanks! That's the info I needed!

Maybe it's time to find new friends? If that portion of your life is over, and they are still doing it, perhaps find someone with more common interests. It almost sounds like high school peer pressure to me. I don't drink at all. It's not that I'm against it, I just care to. My friends don't try to goad me into having a…

Hi! I am on a medically supervised weight loss plan. For me it's about a new way lifestyle change, just a diet. Part of my plan includes being calorie restricted, so I have set times that I eat during the day. The idea is to curb binging and overeating because I am "starved." This way, I keep full throughout out the day.…

Yes, overall you look leaner, especially your face. Congrats! You are doing great!

Oh you know I'm not sure... I've never tried... hubby and I go through them. We buy a big package every few weeks at Costco. I'd freeze a couple to see for you but I don't think I'd get any result before you leave.

I am on a medically supervised plan. I had blood work and tests to start. I eat between 800-1000 calories a day. My actual goal given to me by my doctor is 1200, but never to go lower then 800. I eat every 3 hours, high Protein, 1:10 calorie to protein. Try to keep my carbs under 100 for the day, preferably 80. I take MANY…
