This. All of it. I got down to 194 before I became pregnant.. and then got lazy so put it back on. I want to try to aim for about 140, but as I said - I'll see at 180 :D

Amazing job!!

Same here. Sometimes I'll not bother with either, but I tend to feel self-conscious without at least eyeliner on due to low esteem and a huge lack of compliments about anything. I used to put the whole lot on - foundation, concealer, eyeliner, lipstick and mascara, and people at least said I had a pretty face..... but then…

Your list sounds like she's too tired to cook and want quick fixes. Are you able to cook for her? Seriously though.. you could encourage her to do more exercise with you.. walk more, run, challenging computer games (New generation consoles with moving games).. those sorts of things. Then maybe she might want to lose it.…

I'd seriously start at 1200 until you plateau, or don't see any losses. Then up the cals by 100/150 a week until you see the results that work for you.. until the next plateau. If you end up still losing on 2100.. then good for you :D

I noticed a few threads like this. It's basically your body's way of adjusting to the change in diet. A lot of high calorie foods are processed junk, and your body feels empty within an hour of eating it, so your response is to eat more. Then when you change to eating cleaner and healthier, your body just wants to say…

I always cook my take-outs like that.. although I just use soy sauce and pineapple juice for the sweet and sour - I don't NEED it to be a pink sauce for it to taste good :P

I believe they were following the rules that restricting calories to the minimum is fine for the short term - which is what they did in order to significantly reduce the risks of the diseases they were likely to get. After the 3 months was up, they've lost the weight.. but they'll have hit the plateau, and will have to…

I try to drink about 4-5pints a day.. I think it's roughly about 64oz. I know I should probably drink more, but I hate stopping what I'm doing to pee, and I'm doing that all day as it is... I don't think there's a right or wrong amount, as long as you're not feeling thirsty all the time, and you get enough for you.. all is…

"on days you work out, I'd aim to eat 1500 calories or so..... stick with the 1200-1300 on days you do not work out." That's what I'd do, too. If you're hungry, eat back the cals.. if not, it's okay.. but mostly stick within that sort of range.

I was normal until about 13/14. We used to go out for long hikes every weekend, and once I hit that age I preferred to sit inside and read a book, or go on the computer (I'm talking like Amstrad/BBC at that time) to play games. My portion sizes didn't go down with the lack of exercise.. so I started putting weight on. I…

I have no objection to nuts :P But you made my OCD hurt. It's not something I looked at, and now I want to go buy m&ms to see. Hehe.

I'm going with the boobs too. My accent is great, and my eyes are nice. I'm also good at fun stuff. ;) I can cook, play video games, I love archery and a fair few sports... I'm just one of those all rounders. If I could just keep going and get rid of this fat :P
-
Same for me, too. But yeah - guess it does depend on the position and such - the health calculator says that I'd burn approximately 300 cals just for 20 mins, so I'm pretty impressed. Definitely getting the HRM now :P Do any of you have a consistent meal plan? Like 200, 300, 400? (just estimates btw), or just try to stick…

I've got about 150 to lose.. 153 I think. I've lost 38, so still going for the long haul. Feel free to add :D

I did 10 days straight, then took 2 days out and moved up to level 2 for 10 days. I lost so many inches when I did that (although not much weight, but that doesn't matter) - it's a brilliant DVD. I tried Ripped, but it seemed that it was toning muscles up UNDER the fat, so I was shedding weight but not inches.
-
Soon as I get my HRM, I shall definitely be checking out whether I need more oompf going on :P
-
No, I don't think this is wrong. If you're only burning around 300 cals, then eating 1500 seems pretty fine to me. It's what I do and it works *shrugs* If I burn about 1000 cals from exercise, I might eat half of the cals back because I know my body will be hungry enough to need more nutrients. As long as you don't NET…

That is completely inspiring!! You are amazing! Congrats on coming so far in your journey :)

Pretty much every book I've read was brilliant in some way (there are a few exceptions to that for *sometimes* personal reasons). I love reading. One that I'll always go back to though is Five Little Peppers and How They Grew. Amazing book.
-
Amazing!! Well done you!! :D And good luck with your next goal, you can do it!
-
Wow! You look brilliant! Well done hon!

Mostly after.. since I know exactly what I eat and how much, (and I very rarely eat back exercise cals) it's easy to remember and log.

So this. My SO has seen most of the pics.. in fact, he probably took them :P He doesn't get jealous or angry.. he's just happy that I'm able to take pics and feel comfortable doing it. Although the profile pic I've got now isn't exactly flaunting much but a smaller t-shirt.

Wishing you so much luck :D You can do it!
