                Start week 3day 1 tonight and am like :noway: Never been a runner, not even as a kid. I have until February next year to build up to 7k so I'm not stressing if I have to repeat a few days/weeks.

                I'm type1 diabetic. Over the last few years the amount of insulin had gone up and up, and then I was also put on Metformin Since I started using Mfp I've got rid of the Metformin and halved my insulin. I try and keep the carbs low, I've still got to have some to keep my blood sugar stable, but don't stress out over them.…

                I'm type 1 diabetic, I don't really take into account sugar from fruit, I just make sure I eat fruit earlier in the day. As I see it there are benefits to eating fruit, not so much cake.

                im on about my fourth batch :embarassed: ive canned the salt, added a tablespoon of chia seeds, and switched the sugar for stevia. yum! thanks so much for this recipe

                I agree with the shoes! A number of sports shoe shops here do a fitting, where they look at your feet, and how you walk and run, and then find the shoes to match. I was fitted with some new balance 880's and I love them

                I'm the same. I bought a second hand cross trainer online ($40) and have parked it in front of the tv. So now I can't sit on the couch without feeling guilty if I haven't used it that day. It's working well. I've started on the couch to 5k program, instead of running I use the cross trainer. Starting week 2 tonight!

                Not that I'm holding out any hope, but massaging the area in the very least can't be bad for it, but I'm using palmers coco butter for stretch marks

                I went to the dr about mine, nothing would get rid of it. I got put on doxycycline, which is a low dose antibiotic. You can tell the second I stop taking it. It has worked wonders. And in nz I only pay $3 for a 3 month supply :)

                I'm diabetic, so watch the sugar in everything. I don't worry if I'm over from fruit, I just try and eat it earlier in the day.

                Stuff I hate buying, like work pants, I've sewn elastic in the back to get a few more kg out of them. Really trying to buy as least as possible until I go on holiday to America in august and then I'll have a huge spend up there!

                Did w1 d3 tonight. I noticed I'm only going 1.7k at the moment, hopefully this will improve. I'm doing it on a crosstrainer with slight resistance, over winter, so hopefully when I start running outside (when it's warmer!) I'll be able to hit the 5k easily.

                Honestly the only time I've noticed anyone noticing me running(or wobbling as I call it) is when some guy stopped his car and asked for my phone number, and that was 10kg ago
