Blatantly untrue. Human are the only species that have evolved in a way that allows them the ability to easily access milk beyond infancy. There are plenty of species of animals that will happily consume milk as adults when milk is provided for them - all domestic and wild felines, most canines, some birds (I know of ducks…

Black Canary. If I'm going to run around in a leather swimsuit and fishnets I'm going to look good in it :P

The science shows you need to be eating 85% and darker if you want actual numbers for that recommendation. Sadly most of the chocolate sold as dark or semi-sweet is only about 40-65%.

Buzzfeed's clean eating challenge has some delicious recipes. I don't recommend the challenge itself - a self-proclaimed 'detox' cleanse that has you avoid gluten, carb and red meat - it doesn't have enough daily calories for most people. But it's great to raid a couple recipes from. I really like the roasted cauliflower…

Are you getting enough protein goals? 500-600 of fruits and veggies and a weight watchers meal sounds like you probably aren't. Try eating you veggies in a two egg omelette in the morning, adding some whole fat greek yogurt, or some shredded chicken breast to a salad at lunch. All of those will bump your daily calories up…

Love board games! I have monthly game nights with some friends and it's always a good time. Plus we end up trying new great games all the time. Some of our recent favorites: Gloom Castle Panic Forbidden Island Love Letter Avalon And you can't go wrong with Munchkin, Catan or Cards against Humanity.

Alright, as a lady - I'm never going to complain about abs. Not that they are even close to a requirement but they are certainly a nice bonus and have never been a turn off to cuddling in my history. Crazy, ripped body builder though - like below 10% - not attractive. I have zero objections to average, lean, or husky…

I did the same thing first time I used the couch to 5k. Had a complete freak out about the 10 minute intervals cause the fiv minutes were leaving me wiped. Stuck with it and did the 10 min day. Man was that day tough. Oddly enough though when the 20 minute run came around I was able to run it no problem. I even tacked on…

Dark chocolate is fantastic and loaded with health benefits. I eat 2 small squares (fingernail sized) every day but to really get the health benefits you apparently want to be eating 85%+.

Get on a bike. For most of my life I was resigned to the fact that I had a completely flat butt. I mean it was nicely muscled but just had no volume at all. I started biking to work about 2 months ago and low and behold I have a butt. Not quite bubble butt status but it has visible curvature from the side. I was completely…

Well a healthy body fat % for women is considered anywhere from 15% - ~30% depending on where you get your info. I usually see if broken down: 15%-19% athletic 20%-22% "ideal" (don't like this word but that's how you'll find it during an internet search) 23%-25% healthy 26%-30% average I am also very close to my goal and…

Dump her. You really don't need people like that in your life. She's not a friend - friend do not treat each other the way you have described her behavior. Agree - I'd love that recipe since pineapples will be hitting our markets any month now.

I just graduated and senior year was when I struggled the most with my weight for the same reasons. Friends wanted to go to Pint night at Woodstocks every week, lots of potluck parties and baked goods (one of my roomies is a stress baker) plus I was only getting about 4-5 hours of sleep a night. I went from 135 - 158…

If you want to fit - ie have endurance and strength- I'd shoot for 140-145 to start. Weight is often a very relative judge of fitness. For instance someone who is 150 but as 19% body fat is going to look better than someone who is 135 but has a 29% body fat.

I finished in exactly 30 minutes and was quite proud of myself. I had an injury so I hadn't been able to run for about five weeks before the race and I was delighted to discover I was able to run the whole thing without stopping. I had been training for about 4 months before the injury but it was still the first time I'd…

I'm impressed that only put you 13 grams over to be honest. But to answer you question, MFP gives a very low recommendation for sugar. For what I've gathered many users deal with this in two ways: 1) ignore it completely 2) don't count sugar from natural sources.

I eat! Love food so I have no desire to practice self-deprivation to loose weight. My goal in loosing weight is to make myself happier - food and cooking are a major factor in my current happiness so I see little point in giving that up :)

First off you are not fat. 20-21 is actually the scientific 'ideal' for women bodies. In other words when large groups of men where shown pictures of women they rated those with a BMI of 20-22 as most attractive. A BMI of 17-19 is what many professional or serious athletes have. So while I'm sure the weight you are seeing…

Yep, I found that by the time I could run 30 minutes 4-7 days a week I was slimming down really quick. I lost about a 1/2 inch off my waist every week without changing my diet (though it's already pretty healthy). I imagine that would have plateaued pretty soon but it was nice to see the change. I absolutely loved it but…

Sunny side up egg on two slices of tomato and half a sourdough English muffin sprinkled with just a pinch of shredded cheddar for flavor and some lemon pepper. Had a 1/2 cup of chobani plain yogurt to go with it.
