I just finished day 8 Level 1, I have been using 3 pound weights but found them too light. I went up to 5 pound weights today, ugh it was much harder!

I'm 5'7 and 41 years old & haven't weighed in couple weeks but I was 157 last time and would love to get back down to 145 or so. I've been logging and exercising on an off for awhile now, couple years and it has proved to be very difficult. I will loose maybe 4-5 pounds and then gain it back. Love to have another friend. I…

This is the website I use and plug in the numbers and my age and weight. You need a HRM to use it though. It might have a calculator for use without a HRM on this site to, I'm not sure. http://www.calories-calculator.net/Calories_Burned_By_Heart_Rate.html

I use my HRM when I do it and I am 157 pounds and I plug in the numbers at this website with my average heart rate and it gives me the calories. Mine said today I burned 229 in 25 min. and my average heart rate was 145 with a high of 176. I think it is accurate. I will look up the website I use and post it.

Just finished Day2 Level 1. I'm being lame and doing every other day until I feel like my knee can handle all the jumping. I did better today than on the first day for sure. Now for some breakfast. HRM says I burned 229 calories.

I should be doing L1D2 today and I CAN actually walk today although I am sore, thighs only. But since I have a bad knee I don't want to push it so I may skip today and do every other day until I'm confident in my knees abilities. Those jumping jacks and jump rope moves are not good for my knee. Not to mention all the…

I used my heart rate monitor and I came out at 174 calories which seems low to me considering I was sweating like a pig. And I don't normally sweat.

I'm in, just finished D1L1, hope that I can walk tomorrow. I started it a long time ago, ok years ago and I could barely walk for about 3 days after. So I have been biking and doing some ab, butt, and crunches for two weeks prior to starting Day 1 Level 1 so I hope I can walk tomorrow!! I had to not do the last set of…

You look fantastic, great work. Keep it up:)

Wow! Amazing. I guessed that I was 17.5 % bigger than I really am. My view is clearly off when it comes to my body. Never new that. What an eye opener!

Hello, Yes, I will be 42 in Sept. I can't believe it. And weighing the most I ever have in my life! I swear the day I turned 40 I gained 10 pounds. What's up with that? And then the next year at 41 years old 5 more pounds. So I've been on MFP since I was 40 and I am back to logging consistently. Trying hard not to eat…

I can relate, I've been upping my cals. since the beginning of the summer from 1400 to now 2200 which is my TDEE (and I am 2 weeks into 2200 a reset) and I feel huge! I only wanted to lose 10-15 pounds but was eating at 1400 and exercising and I kept gaining weight slowly. I think after about 6 weeks of upping my cals. I…

Well I started upping my cals from 1400 to now I am at 2000 and I only added 100 cal per week so it's been 6 weeks, wow can't believe it's been that long. And I vowed I would not get on the scale at all. And I didn't until today. I thought my tummy was looking a little smooshy but I thought I am feeding my body good food I…

I looked at your diary and you totally are eating really well, but I think you should be eating more food. I think you need to up the calories and keep eating the good stuff you are eating, just more of it! good luck!

I've been working on eating clean for about 4 months and I feel like I am pretty good about it 90% of the time. I am a sugarholic, but slowly with eating clean my cravings are going down. My sweet treats now, instead of ice cream or candy are things like stevia sweetend Hazelnut coffee, whole wheat toast with butter and…

ohhh cooked in broth, I think I will do that. Thanks for the idea!

Oatmeal with flax, a mashed banana, and a splash of milk. No sweetener. It's sweet enough!

I'm 40 and have serious right knee trouble and pain. I have been seeing a rehab guy for 4 months every week. And I learned my lesson. I didn't listen to the docs. and kept exercising even with the sore knee and it made it worse. Now a month or so later I have listened and no knee pain for one month at least. So this is…

You are encouraging. I am at my 5th week of upping calories to get to my TDEE, currently at 1900 trying to get to 2200. I am feeling sluggish, but glad that I can eat food. Also I am very hungry, all the time! Hah. Keep with it!
-
I see changes, looks real good. Keep up the hard work!
-
I am doing the reset too. I sent you a request.

I've used it to make popcorn on the stove and put in my kids choc. chip cookies instead of butter or oil, it's yummy. Tons of calories though.

I've been doing Chalean for 90 days and I usually burn between 200-250 cal with my HRM on in about 35-45 min. of the strength training. I am 156 and 5"7'. I think your estimate is low. My heart rate sometimes gets to 170 lifting and only 150 with biking. Hope this helps!
